Anglesea, Victoria, Australia
This large rock looked a little out of place on the Anglesea beach when I visited yesterday morning. It seems to be made of different material to the other rocks, and definitely different to the cliffs nearby. It does however make a great prop for my image today and the beautiful colours in the morning sky show it off to perfection. I also love the ripples in the sand where the lapping waves have sculptured it. It still amazes me how puddles form around rocks resulting in reflections of the sky and of the rock. I really enjoyed my photo shoot on this beach and will show you more of the photos in the coming weeks. (1691)

I've never taken any real notice of the messages my Android Phone puts on the screen about the charging, until last night. Why, well I noticed the message was "charging slowly" , what! slowly no I want it fast!!
So I started to experiment. My Phone has three messages it seems "charging slowly"; "charging"; and "charging rapidly". (think slow, normal, fast)
I quickly improved the matter by changing the usb cable I was using, it went straight to charging.
I got it to charging rapidly by changing to my main wall charger.
So all USB Cables are not equal.
I went through my cables and tested each in their ability to charge the phone. I used my best wall charger (Anker) three (3) cables would only charge slowly - these were all very skinny cables so I assume the wires are too thin to provide enough power.
I also had two (2) that were thicker but there was so much dust on such on the pins they they would charge intermittently, 1 I was able to clean the other I binned. In all I through out 4 cables!
Now to test each charger as well ......
But unintuitively, when I change the same cable to a 1A outlet, it changes to 'charging' and actually charges faster.
