Frankly, I don't do customer reviews...I'm Old School and "customer service" is expected. However, I walked into Bill Pellegrino's Archery Hut thinking about buying a bow and walked out 2 hours later with a handful of literature and a firm commitment to buy a high-end bow (with all the accoutrements) from this shop. Quincy, a young staff member who's a senior in high school, is perhaps the most knowledgeable person I've ever met on the subject. Patient, professional and passionate about the outdoor Craft, which are traits that I casually observed from the owner, Bill, and the other young lady on staff. Quincy spent just under 2 hours explaining every aspect of archery, components, technique as well as a number of other things. He also took me to the back range area and I shot several models, which he adjusted for my long arms. So with this review, I give 5-stars and highly recommend Bill Pellegrino's Archery Hut for all of your archery needs.

After taking my Mathews Creed to another shop for cam buzz and them saying everything was normal. It still bugged me. So when up in Colorado Springs I had them check the bow out they heard the same buzz I was hearing. Within 5minutes they had it isolated put on a new cam and is a joy to shoot. Even though they were busy they took time to check it and also let us try some new bows for future purchases. We will for sure be back.

As the owner of Bowhunter's Edge Archery, I hear a lot of negative things about The Archery Hut, Razors Edge and just about every other Pro Shop in the State. Prior to opening our shop I Had dealt with both Bill and his wife for many years and love them both. They, like most everyone in the industry, are great people with a passion for our Sport. Bill is one of the Best and most knowledgeable Archers in this region and I have nothing but respect for him. It is imperative, in this industry, to keep as many pro shops open and available to archers and bow hunters as we can and to lift them up both financially and emotionally. It is tough making a living running a Pro Shop and the money is not the reason Pro Shop owners do it. It's the love of the sport of archery, bowhunting ,the comaradere and the desire to share our passion for our sport that drives us all. Bill has a passion for the sport, not found in most, he's a great guy and for me, Its an honor to know him and call him a friend.

My first visit at the archery hut was for a twenty year old BEAR bow. Two other bow shops told me that they couldn't put a new string on or the bow wasn't worth it. Bill actually had a string in stock fixed a serious rest problem and fixed a few of my bad habits all in an evening when the store was slammed with business. I liked my experience so much I went back and purchased a Hoyt Spyder. Kurt setup and tuned my new Spyder to perfection. I was consistently hitting golf balls in the wind at 70 yards. Two years later, I have moved to Pennsylvania and cannot find a shop that can provide the customer service and quality of workmanship that I have received at Pellegrinos. Shortly after moving I noticed my Spyder wasn't shooting the same and I could not broad head tune the bow. An expert at gold tip told me the bow needed to be yoke tuned. I drove an hour to the largest shop in the east only to be told it was my broad heads, the grumpy old guy didn't even look at the bow. Another shop blamed it on the way my rest was set up and that I had the wrong fletchings for that broad head. I let them tune and re fletch my arrow. Still not quite right. Went to another shop that adjusted cam timing and that seemed to better for only for a short while. I finally had enough, so I drove 1600 miles back to Bill Pellegrinos. Bill's staff was able to determine that the stock string was stretching, causing the cam timing to change. Now the broad heads that I was told wouldn't fly straight perform like field points. Don't waste your time going to another shop. Old bow, new bow the experts at Bill Pellegrino's will have you shooting straight.

There are times that I wish Google would allow a 6-star rating because this shop would get it from me. Outstanding customer service from the moment I walked in. These guys went above and beyond to educate me and let me shoot multiple different new bows before I settled on which to buy. The advice and help was top notch. When I did want to order a bow, they worked with the manufacturer to get a rush delivery on it to accommodate my travel plans. I know there are other great employees here, I just happened to work with Quincy and/or Chris. Either one of these guys are great to work with and extremely knowledgeable in the sport.

Life is just good when you find a little gem like Bill's shop. The staff is courteous, knowledgeable and the shop is filled with high-end, quality archery bows and accessories. Bill himself is an outstanding craftsman, personable and really goes the extra mile for his customers. It really doesn't matter if you are a beginner or a pro. I drove 1.5 hours each way just to purchase a bow from his shop and if that doesn't tell you something, I don't know what will. This message is for any serious archer...do yourself a favor and get into Bill's shop and get setup properly.

It often seems that we live in a time where the big box store has relieved us of our expectations for customer service which makes a visit to Bill Pellegrino's Archery Hut a truly refreshing experience. As a child in Boy Scouts, I fell in love with archery and have longed to rekindle this love ever since. Recently I was able to do just that but unfortunately, I was unaware of the Archery Hut at the time and conceded that the big box store would have to suffice. After many hours of shooting and internet 'research,' I simply could not get my new compound bow that the box store 'set up' for me to place my shots consistently or accurately. Once the rubber tube connected to the site refused to stay in place, I stopped by Bill Pellegrino's Archery Hut after work expecting to drop it off for better strings that would accommodate a better site. I explained my situation to a gentleman behind the counter. I made clear my lack of experience and knowledge about the sport and equipment which would have provided a lesser establishment every opportunity to charge me at will for any number of things. Instead, the gentleman explained that my bow's rest was the most problematic part on my bow and provided me with better options. I chose to go with a drop-away and he invited me behind the counter, where all the 'magic' happens, to watch as he took a closer look at the bow. He then proceeded to check and adjust the draw length which was not set properly. At some point, I realized that this gentleman, who was so incredibly helpful and forthcoming with his wisdom, was indeed Bill Pellegrino. As the time ticked by while he worked on my bow, going far above and beyond any level of customer service I have ever received from any business, his wife explained that she was headed home and said goodbye. Bill's attention to me and my bow was undeterred. During the roughly 3 hours I spent with Bill and his staff, it was clear that they all shared the same love and dedication to archery and their customers. It was clear that the staff and customers at The Archery Hut were more than a good business; I had stumbled into a community that is every bit as dedicated to the people and the sport as they are the business. I regret that I did not get my first bow from the Archery Hut, especially since their prices are typically more affordable than the box stores. I know now and I assure you that I will never again get anything related to my new archery hobby from anyplace other than Bill Pelligrino's Archery Hut and neither should you.

I wanted to take my girlfriend and her girls (11 and 13) to something fun and different. I found "The Archery Hut" close by on the web and gave a call to see if the "Full" class had any room left. My phone call was answered in short order and I was directed to Judy (I think) who answered my questions and told us to come in and she would take care of us. I had a few reservations as a few reviews about The Archery Hut were not so kind. I needn't have worried! My girlfriend and 2 kids were whisked off to the range and I was ushered to a man 'multi tasking' and keeping the hired help busy, helping and working. As I hadn't shot a bow in over 25 years, I had a few questions and Bill (owner) took care of me like I was royalty! He saw my wooden riser and started to offer ideas as to what may need to be replaced and looked into. We decided on a few upgrades and Bill left me in the capable hands of a young man who didn't leave me for over 2 hours to include range time always tweaking this or that until we had it just right! When we had a question we would ask Bill on his way by who would stop and get me into the correct piece or adjustment and give guidance until I was shooting in the 10 ring for all arrows! The Archery Hut is fantastic, staff is friendly, knowledgeable and take care of you! PS: My girlfriend and kids loved it too and haven't stopped talking about the fun they had. We will be regular customers. I now have 3 new bows I have to buy, (group discount Bill?;-)
