Introduction
I’m a freelance consultant and coach for JavaScript, web technologies and information management. I’ve been developing web applications since 1995 and held my first talk on Ajax in 2006. In 1999, I was technical manager at an internet startup that later expanded internationally. I frequently blog about a variety of topics on 2ality.com.

Arrow functions are definitely nice, but just syntactic sugar. Native modules on the other hand are huge. What other language utilizes another language (html) for loading code?

Getting started with ECMAScript 6. Labels: dev, esnext, javascript. This blog post helps you to get started with ECMAScript 6 (ES6): It explains how you can interactively try out ES6. It lists ES6 features that are easy to adopt, along with how those features are coded in ES5.

What I was wondering about a few seconds ago :
The superscript digit characters like in m² is recognized as \w not as \d.
Just the question: +Axel Rauschmayer How do you think about it?
Off course I know: This is one of the things which can't be changed except braking backwards compatibility –
however :
I think a Math.pow(n,2) should be a digit character (?)

Huge files produced by bytecode (WebAssembly)! I embed JS/CSS into a HTML web page and then compress it on www.scriptcompress.com/LZMA.htm and here is PNGcrush (C++ compiled software.exe file converted to bytecode with Emscripten) compressed to a 420KB standalone web application (originally was over 2,800 KB) on http://jsfiddle.net/8gz9qr2y/show/
