This male Apistogramma cacatuoides "orange flash" was one of my favorites. His impressive dorsal fin was really a sight to see. I kept him in a mated pair for about 4 years which is old age for most Apistos.

Pelvicachromis taeniatus is a great dwarf cichlid from West Africa. closely related to the kribensis (Pelvicachromis pulcher), P. taeniatus are not commonly available but can be found from a variety of sources. This is a female with the male just visible in the background.
