the "effectiveness" of the trickle down effect
Households at the top saw the biggest gains. Those at the bottom stagnated. But what about the people in between?

Samsung has just announced the latest in its A series of phones, the A7--and this one might be worth taking seriously. One of Sammy's slimmest ever, it's sleek metallic body houses an eight-core slab of silicon.

Science!!!
Watching these tiny chemical reactions magnified is like getting into a fantastic world of colors, textures, and geometric shapes. It's part of a series of stunning short videos that glamorize chemistry with the intention of making it more interesting to the public.

Faux News Can Legally Lie... Go Figure!!

"During their appeal, FOX asserted that there are no written rules against distorting news in the media. They argued that, under the First Amendment, broadcasters have the right to lie or deliberately distort news reports on public airwaves. Fox attorneys did not dispute Akre’s claim that they pressured her to broadcast a false story, they simply maintained that it was their right to do so. After the appeal verdict WTVT general manager Bob Linger commented, “It’s vindication for WTVT, and we’re very pleased… It’s the case we’ve been making for two years. She never had a legal claim.”

A nice, small, private, family owned and operated campground. The family\management seems nice enough and were quick to answer questions about the campground via email. Although, I would recommend they further develop/update their website to include more information about the campsite like the amenities, facilities, camp map, area stores, medical facilities, etc. so that prospective campers can do their research ahead of time. Overall, the sites are nicely wooded and secluded for the most part, you can see your neighbors, but they're not right on top of you. We stayed in the number 6 site, right along the lake with a nice canopy and layout to accommodate 15 people with 6 tents and parking for 6-8 vehicles. The small lake has a small beach roped off for swimming and has plenty of fish and some growth along the edges, but that's a minor hassle considering no fishing license is required. Some issues we felt need to be addressed are that fishing should be restricted from the swimming area, the access road requires some maintenance, the water and electric in the tent sites could be better designed for access/safety. The biggest fail are the bathroom/shower facilities which seem like they're only cleaned, at most, once/month and look like something straight out of a horror movie. Another rather large issue is that the site we stayed in had such extremely poor drainage that we had 3-6 inches of standing water during a storm as the site appeared to be the water collection area for all the runoff in the campground. As much as we would like to support the small businesses and mom n pop establishments, we will not be returning to this campsite. One other point is not so much for the campground as much as the guests who stay there and just an overall observation about the human condition: BE CONSIDERATE - people will be using the site after you so CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELVES (think minimal impact) and don't compromise the safety of others (e.g. breaking GLASS and not picking it up).

Have made several visits to Grumpy's over the years and was never disappointed. Is it the best BBQ? No, but it's serviceable, w/ a decent menu and beer selection. The waitstaff is pleasant and overall atmosphere is good. the poor service rating is because we didn't even make it into the restaurant when we tried to visit last week. We arrived and proceeded to the back of the parking lot and upon exiting the car we were greeted by a grayed, bearded, rotund old man telling us we couldn't park where we parked. We tried to make light of the situation w/ a joke, but he quickly became rude and belligerent so we exchanged some words and left promptly after that. I guess our mistake is that we went on a Bike Night because those riding bikes apparently take precedence over a family of 4 whom frequent the restaurant and were was prepared to ring up a decent sized tab. Also, they seem to assume that non-motorcycling patrons are supposed to know that widely spaced cones in the parking lot means to "NO PARKING" even though there are several cars parked in the area. Here's a hint: PUT UP SOME SIGNS to direct your patrons. Based on this single experience I will not be returning to this restaurant.
