Have you ever tried freezing Kombucha? Of course in appropriate #2 plastic bottles with the required amount of expansion space. If yes, what were the results with taste?
- What about freezing a SCOBY, vacuum sealed ?
- Have you tried other types of sweetener? Molasses, brown sugar etc?
I'm loving Kombucha, and can't wait until my 1st batch in the Continuous Brewing System is ready for bottling. I have a number of ½ gal bottles on the go. I discovered I can siphon off the tea instead of removing the SCOBY and pouring out the tea. Works well!
