20180921 - Well the big project is finishing up and I probably didn't need this after a big breakfast but meeeh! Almost vegan today (because non vegan dashi was used). Lunch is an umeboshi, scotch bonnet eggplant adobo, simmered lotus root, grilled corn, sautéed mushrooms and a salad

20180917 - The growling from my stomach is now silenced. Feeling rather indulgent with less salad today. Lunch is lotus root cooked in dashi and vinegar, steamed snow peas, grilled beef skirt, steamed corn, soy and butter mushrooms (and baby corn), spinach namul, umeboshi, radishes (under the rice) and a salad dressed with red wine vinegar

20180914 - If it wasn't for the instant dashi powder, this would of been vegan. Lunch is wakame and sesame rice, tofu with misonegi dressing, steamed snow peas, lotus root cooked in dashi and vinegar, pickled radish, cucumber, black olives, tomatoes and a kiwi fruit. Ah, the comfy feeling when eating wholesome home cooked food

20180912 - And back to normal, sort of. Finally trying lotus root (and not the tiny variety) and enjoying the crunch. Lunch is lotus root cooked in dashi and vinegar, teriyaki salmon, steamed snow peas, lotus root pattie, pickled radishes and a salad with miso dressing

20180905 - My tried and true method in getting my veg in: go vegan. It's quite eye-catching today too. Lunch is 'quick' eggplant adobo, grilled capsicum, purple rice chirashi sushi (avocado, sesame and preserved lemon), cucumber, tomatoes and black olives

20180831 - Well, the personal adjusted deadline was beat yesterday but the work deadline was not as lucky. Besides I've been working on diet adjustments for months and today is veggie too. Lunch is 2 tone rice (plain with quinoa, and hijiki with carrot, yukari and sesame), shredded cabbage (under the rice), teriyaki king oyster mushroom, gobo and carrot kimpira, nori tamagoyaki, potato salad, eggplant with miso dressing, a small plum, tomatoes and cucumber

20180830 - Ah the relief of leaving my desk to indulge in a tasty foodie treat. Pretty colourful if I do say myself. Lunch is umeboshi, gobo and carrot kimpira (more under the rice), grilled kaboucha, nori tamagoyaki, chilli beef dumpling, eggplant with miso dressing, curried tofu, takuan and a Thai style salad
