The MBA Association will have a speaker coming on Friday April 25th at 5:30PM. The guest speaker will be Susan Huntington. Susan graduated from Winthrop University in 2003 with an MBA in international business. She is now the director of product management at the Business Journals in Charlotte. All MBA students please feel free to stop by, food and drink will be provided.

The Winthrop University College of Business Administration has received two new awards due to the dedication of its students and faculty.
• Winthrop’s student chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management has again been awarded the Student Superior Merit Award
• Cissie Xi, an accounting major from Nantong, China, has received a $2,000 scholarship from the Charlotte chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Summer Session classes B and C begin next week starting June 9th.  For many of our students, summer classes provide the opportunity to improve one’s GPA, save money, retain LIFE scholarship’s, and graduate faster…….see………………. everyone is doing it!!!!!!!
