Yup. I think the spider was living inside last week, and decided to venture out just in time for the snow.

Ok, photo is somewhat small when looking at it in g+ via a web browser on a phone.  Not sure if/how to fix that.  Try the g+ app instead, or see it on www.logout.com.

WPS implementation issues.

It's been clear for some time now that home routers are ofter horribly insecure, largely due to manufacturers' total indifference to our privacy and security. The attached story is just the latest example.

My question: Is there any home router that has been made truly secure (at least as far as anyone can tell)?
An attack can break into some common Wi-Fi routers, via a configuration feature.

Can anybody explain the Google+/Google Drive/Picasa/Android photo ecosystem to me?  Google Photos app can access photos stored in Google Drive, but not photos in Google+/Picasa.  WTF?  Isn't it all the same storage on the back end?

Is there any decent way to sync photo albums across multiple Android devices?  Local storage on each device (for offline access), with or without cloud/google+/online access.

I think sugar was always considered the source of all evil.  Even when fat was bad, sugar was still evil.

In a decade or so they'll have yet another story, but for now enjoy the resurgance of fatty foods.

The baristas really need to drink more of their own product, and lean to pipeline the ordering and coffee making process. Oh, but if they actually made the coffee at a reasonable pace they wouldn't have the mile long lines out front to make them look ubertrendy.

Great Texas BBQ with a modern twist. The Big Rib was fantastic. Great mixed drinks; bartender makes some great infusions.

The pace at the permanent location inside the Ferry Building is fortunately a little faster than glacial pace at other locations, but whatever you do avoid the Blue Bottle cart that they setup outside on Farmers' market days - you'll die of old age before you get a cup of coffee.

Fogo is the best of the Brazilian Churrascarias. Consistently good food at all of their venues. Extreme amounts of beef.
