We had great service, and my dish was spectacular. Unlike everyone else, I didn't get the steak, or any meat dish, but stuck to the rock shrimp & bass, with the parm fries. Definitely a fan! The wine we had was also delicious. Definitely a more vibrant bar scene, but we all had a great time & thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

great place to impress your guests: hot servers, good food and great ambiance. service is definitely improvable with the typical ny attitude but, if you can live with that, it is highly recommended

the staff at this place is very good and friendly that was the best part...the atmosphere is nice too but the food wasn't that great to me i had a 18 ounce steak and asked for it medium well and it came out burnt my boyfriend had a filet mignon medium rare and said his didn't taste that good either...the grilled shrimp was tasty and i wasn't a big fan of the truffle fries but then again I'm not a big fan of fries but i heard they were really good and decided to try them my boyfriend liked them...the drinks were good...ummm i cant say i wouldn't recommend because the shrimps were good,,,so if your in the mood for shrimp and fries and a friendly staff then you should go but if your in the mood for steak i would not recommend...

Yes, it’s in the Meatpacking District and yes it’s full of pretty people, but don’t judge – the food at Abe and Arthur’s rocks. The EMM Group who runs the eatery knows their stuff, and they would just be a passing fad if they weren’t able to deliver quality cuisine every night. Take out of towners – it’s a great representation of a sceney New York Restaurant (and it doesn’t hurt that everyone working there is smokin’).

I am a native New Yorker and will keep to the directness of how we are known to be :) Food: Excellent! Filet mignon is exceptional. Drinks: Excellent. Great wine. The bartenders will also create something depending on what your in the mood for. Space: This is a small elegant steakhouse. Scene: People watching. Romantic. This place is always packed and the afterwork spot for women who want to meet corporate types. However, as the night progresses and the drinks keep pouring, comedy will ensue. 9 out of 10 you'll have men hanging on one another and looking for more alcohol in MPD. Crowd: 20-50s Pick-up scene. Great for date night or get togethers. Service: Excellent, very courteous & professional.

Like the other EMM Group establishments, it's just as much about the scene here (perhaps mostly) as it is about the food. We followed our waitress' food recommendations and were pleased overall - no true standouts but generally tasty and well presented.

A fun trendy dining experience, however the above average but not great food doesn't make up for the large amount of Meatpacking District pretense. Instead, just grab a drink at the bar, the cocktails are exquisite.

This is a "you like somebody" or "want to look like somebody" kind of place. 20 or 30-somethings dressed in their hottest and form-fitting attire hanging at the bar to be seen. Even with a good amount of bar traffic, drinks and appetizers come fast and go down just as easy. Steaks and seafood were awesome! The service was very fast and good. Drinks were generous...especially the Man drink!
