“Many of New Jersey’s displaced workers and unemployed are unable to find work because they do not possess the skills needed in the changing global workforce that relies more heavily on computers, technology and math skills,” said Senator Sandra Bolden Cunningham, D-Hudson. “The New Jersey Community College Consortium for Workforce and Economic Development, through our state’s county colleges, provides programs to fill training gaps for many of these unemployed and displaced workers. I am pleased that we are able to provide additional funding for these programs so that they can continue to expand this successful model.”
