There was a network outage from ~5:00pm - ~6:00pm impacting both wired and wireless connections from the three Stern buildings. The problem has now been resolved. The cause is still under investigation.

Following last week’s announcement about critical iOS vulnerabilities and updates, Apple has issued similar updates for OS X Yosemite v10.10.5 and OS X El Capitan v10.11.6. We strongly recommend all Mac users install these critical updates as soon as possible.

Google calendar is experiencing service disruption morning of 6/30/16. Problem fully resolved at 2:36pm.
Google Apps Status Dashboard enables users and businesses to monitor the status of individual Google Apps services. Users of Google Apps can now view the status of individual services such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Talk, Google Docs, Google Sites and Google Video for businesses. Administrators of Google Apps Premier Edition, Standard Edition, Partner and Education Edition can also view status of the Admin Control Panel.

If you have an Apple iPhone or iPad, Stern IT highly recommends you update the iOS as soon as possible to Apple iOS 9.3.5.

Please uninstall QuickTime from your Windows computers as soon as possible. Two new security vulnerabilities have been discovered with QuickTime that put your computer at risk.  Apple is no longer supporting QuickTime for Windows and will not be releasing a fix for these vulnerabilities. Remove QuickTime to ensure the security of your PC.
