Don’t click on links in email messages! Phishing messages are coming from Stern accounts. The fraudulent messages may appear to be from a Stern faculty or administrator and have subject lines such as CONFIDENTIAL DOCUMENT and a link claiming to be to a file or Google Document.

If you click on the link, your Stern account will become compromised. If you have already clicked on a suspicious link, please change your Stern password immediately.

The Stern IT Helpdesk is closed on Saturday, January 23rd due to the weather.  We expect to be open as normal on Sunday, January 24th.  We will continue to monitor voicemail & email during the day if you would like to report an emergency.

Single Sign On to Albert currently not working in Stern Life portal.  Access Albert via NYU Home or by logging in with your NYU credentials.

After January 12, 2016, Internet Explorer 11 will be the only supported version of Internet Explorer on Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.  If you are using an older version of IE, you will be prompted to upgrade to IE 11.

A phishing scam has been hitting Stern mailboxes.  Subject: fwd: Important Information with a message about mailbox reaching capacity. This is not a legitimate message.  Do not click on the link or provide your information.  Delete immediately or report as spam.

Sternlinks and Stern Life portals will be unavailable on Friday December 18, 2015 from 8pm - 9pm EST.  After 9pm EST, Sternlinks portal will be retired and inaccessible.  Stern Life will be the only available portal going forward.  Find Stern Life at http://sternlife.stern.nyu.edu after 9pm on Friday December 18, 2015.  All links previously found in Sternlinks will be available in SternLife.

Print@Stern student printing will be unavailable from 10pm - 12am EST January 21, 2016 for routine maintenance.

Stern EMS will be unavailable from 10am - 10:30am EST on Monday January 11, 2016 for maintenance work.  After 10:30am EST on 1/11/16, faculty will be able to locate course reservations without having to select “Academic User” in order to do so.

The Stern IT Help Desk will be closed from 12/24/2015 to 1/1/2016. The Stern IT Help Desk will open from 8am to 4pm on Saturday (1/2) and Sunday (1/3) to support winter intensives. We will resume our regular office hours on Monday, January 4, 2016. Happy Holidays!

Stern Wireless, both SOTM and SOTM2, will be unavailable on Thursday December 3, 2015 between 10pm and 12am EST while maintenance work is performed. The upgrade will enable Windows 10 and Android 6 devices to utilize SOTM2 again.
