I went there twice: Once with my daughter, the second time with my wife. On both occasion, I had an amazing experience. From the food to the drinks to the decor and staff, the Hommage experience is a gentle relaxing and peaceful trip to some of the most delicious food I have ever tasted. I'm French you see, and I tend to believe I am a little bit of a foodie. We've explored restaurants in Puget Sound, France, and around the World as we travel. Hommage is quite up there in some of the top dining I ever had. The food to start with. At every dish, the food tasted beautiful, artful even, with subtle assortment of flavors. The chef does not over-do it. He chioses his ingredients carefully and makes each of them shine on the plate and in your mouth. One of my favorite wad the Chanterelle mushroom with Sage pasta. Each bite brought me to a quite earthy dream of peace and rest. A beauty. A bug surprise was the salmon and its 35min egg. I mean I've had egg before. Lots. Like farm fresh that I picked myself. For some reason, for me, that egg was the centerpiece of the dish, full and beautiful, gooey and tender, carefully seasoned with salt and pepper. The rest of the dishes were equally amazing: duck, cod, paté, vegetables... The other outstanding highlight was the dessert. The chocolate sorbet and caramel mousse... I had the dessert the first time I went with my daughter, and it was an incredible epilogue to a somptuous dinner. So when i went back with my wife, I knew that no matter what, we had to order it. By the end of our courses, we were full. I mean full as I rarely am. We had eaten so many dishes in our binge of delicate plates. Yet somehiw I could not let my wife walk away without tasting that dessert. So I ordered it. Somehow, when it came, we managed to eat it slowly, enjoying every bite. Anyhow... the rest of the experience at Hommage was equally a treat, amazing cocktails (my daughter was treated to a home-made rhubarb pear soda: amazing), friendly and highly professional staff. Last but not least, the great view on the quiet canal at night.

Worth a visit for good but not great food. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very comfortable. Perfect for a first date. The service was steady and professional. Perhaps not a polished and refined as one might expect given the mood and prices of the food. But it was solid. The meal was a mixed bag. The appetizers were tasty. The steak was good but nothing special. Overall, I'd give the restaurant a try. I might not be back as Seattle has many awesome restaurants. But I suspect my experience may have come on an off night.

This is hands-down one of the best restaurants in Seattle. Its perfect for any size grom from a work-related dinner to a romantic night out--they will take care of you regardless of the type of experience you're looking for. The food is consistently amazing and the tasting room adjacent to the restaurant allows you to taste the restaurant's house wines (all of which are good, but I am partial to the Cabernet Franc) and select a bottle to enjoy with your meal.

Had a really nice meal at Hommage. Really wasn't sure what to expect, but was quite impressed by everything I was able to try on the menu. Definitely one of the better meals I've had in the city in quite awhile. Welcome to Seattle, Nico!

One of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. A bit expensive, but the food is dd & atmosphere just as great. Go to the winery next door before hand- no corkage fee if you bring in a bottle from there.,,

This is hands down one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. Walking in, the atmosphere is really nice; not too bright, but not too dark. It is a bit small, but in the nice, cozy sort of way. The decoration is really nice, it looks kinda like a house. The food was also some of the best I've ever had. Not only was it beautiful, it was amazingly delicious. Would definitely come back again!

Fun to start with wine tasting and then going into dinner. Food products are pieces of art!
