A commission in action!  Watch "Birthday Dream" come to life.  (I'm going to have to start getting a tripod and doing these properly instead of taking progress pictures with just the camera phone.)

Want your own custom painting?  Commissions are open at the shop!  http://www.etsy.com/shop/offscriptstudios

It's not that I've dropped off the face of the planet, it's just that this sucker took me over TWO MONTHS to finish.  The intention was to sell the actual piece, but it was just far too awesome.  But now you can make it yourself!

And the second new piece. I like doing monochrome stuff.

Custom order!  A Lemmy Koopa fan asked me to create this one.  I sealed the patch with iron-on adhesive, though she indicated that she'd be sewing it on instead.

New painting!  Mainly my paintings are ways of using up spare paint from other projects, but this one's an original.

Hey, finally a new item! I completed a couple of new palettes while finishing up the painting I did for my mom, but it took a little bit to get them posted.
A lovely, relaxing little painting. Amber Waves is one of my palette series--abstract paintings I create with paint leftover from other projects

Introduction
Welcome to my G+ page!  I'm an avid Plusser, so what better venue for promoting my shop?

When my wedding budget went south, I had to do a lot of creative things to cut the budget and add a personal flair, and one of my favorites was my rose bouquets.  I made the roses by hand over the course of several months from pages taken from old second-hand copies of our favorite books, and they turned out just gorgeous.  I got so many compliments that I was finally convinced to start my own shop.

Paper flowers are my first love, especially custom orders and arrangements.  However, I also love photography and painting, so some of my endeavors there will pop up in the shop as well.  These days I do a lot of cross-stitching, which lends itself well to pixel art and assorted geekery.

In order to expand my floral repertoire, I bought a Silhouette Cameo, which allows me to custom cut all sorts of goodies, including vinyl decals and magnets.  I'm greatly looking forward to experimenting with those new media.
