Podcasting hasn’t reached bubble status yet. It hasn’t jumped any proverbial sharks (although I personally think jumping sharks sounds kind of cool). It’s a wide-open playing field that’s gaining a lot of great attention and momentum, and is becoming more accessible than ever.
The Zoolander references stop with the title of this article. Now I want to talk to you about my current favorite medium…

No amount of marketing, PR, advertising, will trump the power of word-of-mouth. Build something worth talking about and worth sharing. If your business isn’t worth talking about or sharing, why are you wasting your time working on it?
If I were to start a new business right now and had no experience, no connections, no specific idea, and very little mon…

By avoiding the process of creating and only consuming, you’re denying the world your gifts.
Today is the day you admit something. Today is the day you flip the switch, and take a different direction. Today is the…

The decision to move — just like the decision to start a business or launch a new product — is only a small part of the battle. It’s an idea at first, and we all know that ideas are useless without execution.
Big change happens when you decide that you want the dream more than you fear the reality.

As entrepreneurs, we need to stop comparing ourselves to the Mark Zuckerbergs, Elon Musks, etc of the world. We need to carve out our own paths and create our own personal metrics for success.
Your level of success should be measured by your own values, not against those of people sensationalized by mainstream m…

So many of us have debt and are embarrassed to talk about it. Things may have looked like they were going well for me on the outside, but in 2013 I had only $9 in my bank account and $100,000 in debt. Read how I clawed my way out of a pretty dark financial place: https://medium.com/writing-by-jason-zook/two-years-ago-i-had-9-in-my-bank-account-and-100-000-in-debt-690e1de8e3a7

It's been quite awhile since I've done anything with video. This is a short movie about fear and how it doesn't have to paralyze us.

The words in the movie read:

"What’s the worst that will happen? If you answer that question honestly and really drill down, the fear you have won’t be so paralyzing. In fact, the fear you once had might seem trivial. We aren’t born with it, fear is something we learn over time."

Your video of course made me think. Most of Jason Does Stuff does make me think. It makes me think - yep, I can do that.
Thanks for that laid back approach you have that makes it all seem possible.
Please let Dexter Britain know that the music he provided for this video was really good.

Simply having ideas doesn’t make you creative. We don’t remember famous inventors for all the inventions they thought of but never brought to life (they do have a ton of those though). We remember famous inventors for the things they actually built and created.

True creativity comes when ideas are given a chance to live.
Creativity is not just for artists, musicians, writers, and designers. We are all creative, but the folks who are known …

It seems as if our days are filled to the brim. It feels like there are never enough hours in the day. This makes it nearly impossible to find creativity and inspiration.
If the work you are doing makes you feel busy, then the work you are doing doesn’t truly matter to you. Work worth doing…

I never wanted to ask for help. I always wanted to do things on my own. It wasn't until I swallowed my pride and asked for help that I was able to achieve a couple breakthroughs in my personal and business life.

I also want to help be your accountability partner when it comes to your business. Read on and feel free to hit that "Recommend" button if this article brought you value :)
Whether in public or private, surrounding yourself with people who keep you accountable is critical for success.
