Only an idiot would follow anyone into a fire. Except to save a life. Only a fool would take someone else's fall. Followers... wow who made the one you follow hot shit? Try leading once in awhile. Damn
Why do people still use that stupid reference to Mr. Rodgers. Most people nowadays don't even know who he is. Hell most people nowadays can't tell you who is vice-president. Or who won the civil war. Or when it was even fought. Many are very uninformed and B.O. wants to make them vote. Ignorance. ..
Cops dont get to keep spoils from a bust. Although I fully support an officer who risk his life everyday to protect me skimming a little from confiscated drug money. Where's the harm. I'd like to say THANK YOU ALL THE POLICE OFFICERS.
How does that senior get $ 1200 a month if there were no corporations and CEOs to begin with. CEOs make alot of Money. They also have alot of responsibility and liability. In America we are still capitalist. Socialism hasn't entirely crushed our economy yet. (Other people still have SOME money)
What the entire episode demonstrates is the need for a new bipartisan foreign-policy consensus — something that doesn’t interest Obama in the least. With this historic implosion of our nation’s ability to conduct a rational and effective foreign policy that has public and international support, Congress has to step in.
Looks like the "world leader" in "democracy" (or leader of the "free" world, if you will) has sort of failed at Job One.
Asking "[w]ho really rules?" researchers Martin Gilens and Benjamin I. Page argue that over the past few decades America's political system has slowly transformed from a democracy into an oligarchy, where wealthy elites wield most power.
Using data drawn from over 1,800 different policy initiatives from 1981 to 2002, the two conclude that rich, well-connected individuals on the political scene now steer the direction of the country, regardless of or even against the will of the majority of voters.
"The central point that emerges from our research is that economic elites and organized groups representing business interests have substantial independent impacts on U.S. government policy," they write, "while mass-based interest groups and average citizens have little or no independent influence."
This is not true and please remember Bernie is a socialist. His agenda is to break the strongest capitalist party so he can create a socialist government where only a really few select elitist have ALL the money while they Bernie Madoff us until everyone else's money runs out.
I am a complete fiscal conservative with a slant to the moderate. I dream of the day cons and libs stop allowing themselves to be used by the reps and dems. I believe we should take our government back from the money hungry elitist. We must find a balance between profit and stewardship of the planet. We have to fight fraud of the government at every turn. Balance our budget and live within our means. Just the way the middle class is asked to do every day.
