Hmmm...very tempting but I don't think I'd be able to get a $270 purchase past the financial controller without her noticing (and calling it into question).:http://www.dwidigitalcameras.com.au/store/product.asp?idProduct=4625:https://fbexternal-a.akamaihd.net/safe_image.php?d=AQCiGwTd2ITTPwdq&url=http://www.dwidigitalcameras.com.au/store/../images/catalog/Gopro-outdoor-2.jpg

Savage Chickens is a great strip.  Add it to your RSS feeds.  Seriously.  :-D

The very end of last night's sunset (once again I was commuting for most of it). This is a quick 3 frame stitch with the iPhone, Autostitch, a little tweak in Snapseed & Camera+ border.

The sky was pretty nice on Friday night, but I was on a train (on the way home from work) and all I had with me was my iPhone. So this was the best I could do through the grotty window of a moving train. Perhaps +Chase Jarvis is right - the best camera is the one you have with you. ;-)

Well, I already have a D700 and I don't have $4000 (or anywhere near it) and am unlikely to any time soon, but I'm sorely tempted to work on a "business case" to approach management with.

Some highlights:
- 36MP (strewth! that's medium format territory!!!!!)
- ISO 100 (I use the low sensitivity end far more than the high ISO range)
- USB 3.0
- Video: 30fps @ 1080p and 60fps @ 720p

Makes me feel like grabbing my tripod and heading down to the beach for sunset...but I'm stuck at work. :(

Football NSW HPU has been posting some good links on Facebook. Here's a good one they posted: about an hour of Jose Mourinho coaching youth with a lot of explanation of aims, progressions, etc. of a training session, and some good insights scattered amongst it all from names like Drogba, Villas-Boas, & Carvalho. If you have a spare hour, go grab a brew and sit down & have a watch (although you have to pay attention as half of it is in Portuguese with subtitles).
