The cover for the next Libram volume is ready to go.  Now I just need my tardy ISBNs to arrive and this one will be out the door, just in time for Halloween!

Hi Everyone.  Time for another update.  I'm busy laying out Libram Mysterium Volume 2, and the very talented Chris Conklin has kindly volunteered to grace the cover once again with his art.  Barring any complications, we're on track for an October release.  Thank you to everyone who contributed to this second volume - it's a bit shorter than last, but chock full of chilling awesomeness!

Also, my latest short story, The Tomb Robber's Tale has been published in the current issue of Heroic Fantasy Quarterly.  It's a prequel to The Vivisectionist's Tale, which appeared in Libram Mysterium Vol 1.  Anyone interested can read it here for free: http://www.heroicfantasyquarterly.com/?p=1631

LIbram Mysterium Volume 1 is now available on Kindle.  It will also be available in trade paperback on Amazon sometime next week.

Greetings everyone; it's update time: the next volume of Libram Mysterium is shaping up and I've got a fantastic line-up of stories so far, but I'm still looking for more.  I'd really like to have all the stories in hand by the end of June, which will give me time to do the layout and arrange artwork for an October release.  So, if you're thinking of submitting a story to this issue please do!

I was just perusing the latest issue of Heroic Fantasy Quarterly and I was very pleased to see a story by Libram contributor, Garnett Elliot.

You can check out his story, The House of Nharat by following the link below.

Hi Everyone; thank you for bearing with me.  The print version of Libram Mysterium is now available for order.

I'm afraid the print copy of Libram Mysterium will be delayed another couple of weeks.  I received the proof copy the other day and it looks great, but there were a couple of instances where indents weren't correct.  The corrections have been made, but One Bookshelf won't allow the book to be sold until I've ordered and approved a second proof.  It took about 2 weeks to receive the last proof and I imagine it will take about as long again.

Sorry for the wait, everyone.

Chris Conklin sent me the cover painting the other day, and I've managed to take a break from my holiday feasting and general debauchery long enough to put the cover together.  The cover illustration depicts a scene from Matthew Bottiglieri's story, The God in the Urn, and I think Chris has really nailed the pulp aesthetic I was shooting for.  Let me know what you think.

Happy New Year, everyone!

I thought I'd share one of Chris's illustrations; this one will accompany Josh Graboff's story, The Sun is With Us.
