Sorry to have to put this at the top. I delete comments that are abusive or off-topic, and quickly block commenters who combine that behavior with hiding behind a pseudonym and/or having a profile picture showing something other than their face.

Hi, I'm Florian. I'm bilingual (German/English), and occasionally pretend to speak other languages.

Google+ doesn't handle separating content by language very well, so I've decided to abuse Collections for that purpose.

If you'd like to see everything I post, just follow this profile. If you'd only like to see the content in a specific language, please go to https://plus.google.com/+FlorianHaas/collections and select that language. Thank you!

What's even stupider than the daily scrum? The daily plank meeting.

Whoa, and I thought Vienna was bad on Tuesday. But an hour and 40 minutes to get through security? Holy crap.

If you need to game the system to make it work, the system is broken.

FPTP means the Remain camp is fucked after Labour toed the Brexit line in Parliament. Lib Dems and SNP don't stand a chance to really upset the Tories, and if you're getting Brexit from both the Tories and Labour, why on earth would you vote Labour?

Well done, chaps, well done. I'm sure you'll return to Imperial glory in no time.

And of course, Randall nails it again.

It's been my theory for a while that its legal system is what is hastening the downfall of the U.S.

The fact that this argument is even getting any room in court is utterly ridiculous. As are plea bargains, prosecutorial discretion, the idea of "pressing charges", and the rule of legal precedent.

Hadn't known this one. Spot on.
