Baldini: a true Italian cuisine. A simple sub shop was bought and turned into a popular fine-dining restaurant, and since 2006 it has been an appealing addition to the Trendy Leslieville Gem. Baldini presents guests with a pan-regional selection of dishes from Northern and Southern Italy, along with home-made pastas, breads and sauces.

Executive Chef Sal, the sole owner, with over 20 years of experience, ensures that ingredients are fresh from local markets and are prepared only in the finest Italian tradition to ensure the best possible flavour. Followed by homemade gnocchi and other savoury pastas, risotto, whole-wheat thin crust pizza, along with meat and seafood dishes; Baldini has a wide range of full-flavours of the herbs and spices, that creates the full-Italian experience.

Gentle jazz sets the mood, as our diners unwind casually on the classic brick wall and the cozy dining atmosphere, enjoying their meals at the heart of the Leslieville Gem. Experience a rich selection of the best Italian wines, complemented by the soothing ambience along with our friendly staff, which makes your visit at Baldini, a memorable one!

Have been here a few times, both for sit in and take out. Consistently great vegetarian panini!

Went here on Tuesday evening. Not busy at all, service was fantastic and the food was heaven. I definitely will remember this experience.

The carbonara lacked flavour / depth, my wife's bolognese was way too salty and the pasta for both was way, way undercooked. Service was great at the start but as the restaurant filled up we became less and less of a priority to our server. This is terribly executed Italian food - not recommended at all.

I really enjoy this place and the atmosphere. Mostly a full house every time I go there, the food and service is excellent. A great place for a first date or when in the area and looking for a nice Italian meal. Also a very good place for family dinner as it appears to be very cozy and warming. If you are travelling to Toronto, checking out the hood and trying to their food is highly recommended.

The food was not worth the price. Something I could have made at home. Plus the creepy wait or wouldn't leave us Lone for 2 minutes. The bread was stale. The parmesan may have been sitting out all week. And it smelled like cigarettes.

I was looking forward to eat here. I ordered Eggs Chatelaine. The bun was soaked. The eggs were overdone. The salad dressing was tomato sauce. The smoked salmon was cooked salmon. Unbelievable.
