Anyone able to assist me with writing up some DC characters for MHR? I would love stats for Doctor Fate and John Constantine, please.

I am currently running a face-to-face All Flesh Must Be Eaten campaign and own almost every Unisystem product. I have a few questions though.

If I wanted to run an urban fantasy game similar to the Dresden Files with vampires, werewolves, mages, fey, etc. would I be better off using Classic Unisystem's Witchcraft RPG or Cinematic Unisystems Angel/Buffy/Ghosts of Albion?

Also, can you all please refresh my memory as to the rules differences between Cinematic and Classic Unisystem? I remember the skills are condensed and simplified a lot and that Cinematic adds a lot of combat maneuvers.

How do you use a shield in the game rules? I was pondering that while looking at a write-up of Captain America at write-ups.org earlier. I know there is the blocking sub skill of martial arts but it seems to be for weaponless blocking and I did not see a sub skill of Weaponry that seems to apply. Does anyone know exactly how Captain America using his shield would work in the game?

Does anyone know where I can find or would you be willing to list some pre-designed Omni-Gadgets for Batman? I am playing him as an NPC in a campaign currently and thought it would be helpful to have some likely things he would use against threats created in advance, using his Omni-Gadgets rating on his character profiles.

I also want to try to create some that would allow him to take on bigger threats. I would love to find stats for his armored suits and things like that as well.

Any help out there?

Damn whips and daggers make a nice combination. Fill up the melee talent tree, then pick up assassin, and that would not only be brutal in battle but cool to envision. Add in some alchemy for blinding power and pick up a Zhaibar knife for extra fun.

I like that the stealthy dagger wielder has to rely on gaining some sort of advantage, but really gets a lot out of that advantage when they're good at it.

Question though: does blinding powder count as a ranged weapon or a melee weapon that has the thrown property? If ranged should I assume the range is reach?

Are Omni Gadgets too expensive? For a character like Batman, who uses these kinds of things in the DC animated movies and various media very often, it seems rather expensive to me that he must pay Hero Points after each time he uses one in a scene. According to the game rules for Omni Gadgets, the gadget will last its AP value in time or for one scene, whichever is shorter in duration. Afterwards, the hero must replace the Omni Gadget by expending the amount of Hero Points the Omni Gadget cost in order to be able to have this gadget for use in the future. This could get quite expensive quickly.
Batman has 2 AP 10 ABCD Omni Gadgets. According to my calculations it would cost him 34 Hero Points to replace one each time he uses one of these. Does that seem a tad expensive to you all?

Any of you out there understand Omni-Gadgets really well that has Skype or something? I would like to ask some questions in order to ensure my understanding.
