Gripping and Thought-Provoking - Review of Catfish
I don't often watch documentaries and when I do, it is usually to gain knowledge and not to experience a story unfolding. However, once in a while a documentary comes along which catches my interest and ends up completely captivating me. Exit Through the Gift Shop (2010) was such a documentary which for quite some time had been my favorite documentary, but now I have a new #1: Catfish (2010).

Catfish caught my interest from the very beginning and then took me on an amazing journey which was more intriguing, moving, and interesting than most movies. This is definitively the best documentary I've ever watched.

I had no idea what Catfish was about when I began watching it, which I felt was the perfect way of experiencing the movie. It is in part about social networks and that is pretty much all you need to know. Try to avoid descriptions of the movie, trailers, etc. and just watch it.
