Intriguing, Though Disappointing - Review of A Dangerous Method
When I first heard about A Dangerous Method (2011) I wasn't sure it would be a movie for me. I however gave it a chance since it after all had Viggo Mortensen as Sigmund Freud and Michael Fassbender as Carl Jung.

The clearly strongest part of A Dangerous Method was the several very intriguing conversations between Freud and Jung. This was unfortunately the only really appealing part of the movie for me. The rest of it felt very bland and uninteresting. So while the scenes with Freud and Jung completely captivated me, the movie as a whole didn't stand as strong.

I will, however, say that while the movie felt lacking overall, it still is worth watching, just to experience the conversations between Freud and Jung.
