So disappointing. This was the worst meal I've had in a long time, and it cost me $120. The veal osso bucco was chewy and crunchy. Not even sure how that's possible. Risotto was closer to minute rice. The sauces on both of our entrees were entirely flavorless. Should have known when there were only two other tables in the dining room on a Saturday night at 730. I paid the tab and we went somewhere else for gelato. I hate to post negative reviews, but I don't want anyone else to have their date night hijacked like we did.

Tasteless, overpriced food. An extremely annoying, intrusive waiter who insisted on repeating all the specials aloud even when they were there on the menu for us to read. My husband had to ask him to leave us alone for a few minutes. The food was tasteless, not even properly seasoned. The bill for three adults and one child came to 280 dollars, without starters for two of the party and without coffee or dessert. Absolutely ridiculous. The waiter tried to pester us into ordering dessert and coffee, but we refused. He was incredibly irritating. His last (thank goodness!) words to us were "See you again!" No. Way.

Those that gave three stars and below have no idea what they're talking about. Assaggi is a legend in this area. A legend for a reason. Known to the locals and to all of the many 'rich and power' in this prosperous area. The food is amazing and the service...well, they treat you like family. Best Italian I've ever had with an atmosphere you'll always fondly remember.

food was expensive and service was bad. If you do not order wine with them very unfrendly I am not recommended this place

The food is fair*, the service poor, mostly from the hostess who was a bit rude, however the food is prepared beforehand and reheated to be brought out and served literally a two and a half turnaround time is the exact amount needed to take a order, walk to the kitchen and then walk back and serve it While the food may be good if I wanted poor rude service and food that has been pre made and then left out to collect bacteria I'll save myself some money and go to golden coral

Average food quality, way overpriced. Not much flavor, need salt and pepper on the table. My wife ordered from the list of specials, and they brought her the wrong dish. Then argued with her about why she didn't want the dish they brought instead if the one she ordered. My son got penne with meat sauce, and while it was fine, it just didn't have enough flavor to really be called good. The ambiance was lacking. Lots of hard surfaces, and very noisy. The wine was good, though.
