Introduction
I am an independent historian and history educator in Boston.  Before moving to Boston in June 2012 I taught American history at a small private school in Charlottesville, Virginia.  I am currently working on a number of writing projects related to the Civil War and historical memory and working with k-12 history teacher programs.  For more information check out my website at Civil War Memory
