My undergrad research!

A Georgia Tech professor figured out why mosquitos aren't crushed by raindrops, even though technically it's like a human being hit by bus.

So I'm wanting to take tracking info from a GPS module and transfer via GSM to a server. Does anyone know if this has been done / is there a tutorial? Thanks!

I'm glad I got in when I did. My test scores weren't that high.

Thousands of students received their admission decisions over the weekend. The average SAT score of applicants: 2185. The average ACT score: 32.  But the best part was the reactions! It feels good to say #IGotIn to Georgia Tech.

Thanks for sharing this video with us, Kathryn!

You were talking about growing plants. here's a way to do that with a raspberry pi!

More improvements to my Raspberry Pi-based home automation. I looked at a number of options for monitoring water levels in the reservoirs for my plants -- including this "plant wall". A fairly robust solution is to measure water level using a Ping ultrasonic sensor in a manner similar to this excellent article: http://www.raspberrypi-spy.co.uk/2012/12/ultrasonic-distance-measurement-using-python-part-1/ However; I am using the 3-wire version of the sensor: http://www.parallax.com/product/28015 I simply adapted the Python code in the article to switch the single sensor lead between GPIO.IN & GPIO.OUT as required. Electrons are faster than sound waves. ;D
