Where to start? Great food, great atmosphere, great beer. If you like German food then you will love this place. If you have never tried it, give it a shot. You will spend at least 20.00 a person here but it's worth it. Evenings have life German music and it's very entertaining.

I have lived in the DFW area for two years now and my wife is German. Trying to find real authentic German food with a wife that is German is like running blindfolded thru a minefield. The food was very good quality and authentic German food. The service was outstanding. Price was great considering quality, quantity and authenticity. I drove from Arlington to try it out and will be returning. Thank you Bavarian Grill and staff for an excellent evening.

Great atmosphere and good selection of beer. The red cabbage is pretty good however we've had better. Its definitely pricey at $20+ a plate

We decided to visit this place for my son's birthday. We ended up waiting for a total two and one half hours to reach our food. The first hour to order the second hour and half to receive our order. We asked for some bread since we had to wait so long. They charged us around $7.00 extra for the bread. Since the service was so slow I would have thought they could have compt. the bread. Instead of a joyous evening celebrating my son's birthday, it was a frustrating dreadful evening.

What a T.E.R.R.I.B.L.E. experience! The food was decent, but the service? Here's the scoop, we went here to treat our 4 year old daughter, we ordered the escargot. She was adventurous enough to even try some! Well, the shells that the snails came in (clearly not the original shells) were quite lovely and she very much wanted to take them home - 6 shells in total. We asked our waitress first, and she said of course and brought us a box. A moment later, the owner, Jurgen, came to our table. He saw the shells, sitting in front of my 4 year old daughter, and began to explain to us that they RE_USE the shells and we could GO BUY OUR OWN if we wanted some, and then stepped in front of my daughter to begin taking the shells out of her box!!!! I thought it was some sort of joke. My husband and I just sat there staring and slack jawed! I felt like offering the guy some money or something, are you that hard up to disrespect customers and make a 4 year old who just wanted to make a shell necklace cry??? And to re-use the shells? It would be like someone taking your oyster shells back to use them again, that is just gross! We spend well over $100 every time we eat lunch here! NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No thank you Jurgen!!!

They made an "off menu" item for me on my first time. Best German beer list in DFW. Got a visit from manager, chef, and bartender. I felt so comfortable!!! The food was as you would hope. Anthony worked hard to give great service.

Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu items. Excellent service and food. I spent twelve years in Germany and this was the best German food I've had since returning.

"In a word, FANTASTIC!!!

For those who were able to attend The Taste of Purity last Saturday, I think you will be agree with me when I say it was certainly an event worthy of a 500th anniversary!! The weather was beautiful, the bier was cold and the food was delicious! A big thanks to all those who volunteered their time and effort to make it the success it was.

The true purpose behind the event was to raise money for our two favorite charities - God's Food Pantry of Plano and the North Texas Foster Children organization. We don't have the final numbers yet, but with generous match of the good folks at Ben E. Keith this will be the single largest fundraising event in the history of the Bavarian Grill Stein Club!"

Prost!

Did you know that it used to be tradition for German children to wear a brezel (pretzel) around their necks on New Years for good luck?

According to the legend 'St. Hubertus' protected a deer from two hunters. The deer was kneeling down and seeking refuge in front of a church. In honor of this noble act Hacker-Pschorr hosts the annual Hubertus Bock Spring Fest.

It is a Maibock with a foamy, lacy white head. Brilliantly clear pale gold. Malty bock character. Rich German Fest body. Feels like beer.
It is 100% natural. Brewed with pure spring water, Hacker-Pschorr's centuries-old, exclusive yeast strain, Hallertau hops, and light-coloured malt from two-row Bavarian summer barley.
