Prato has it all. The food was fantastic. The plates are just enough to make you smile while leaving room for their fabulous desserts. The atmosphere is one you must experience. From the wonderful aromas emanating from the open kitchen to the exciting glow of the brick pizza exhibiting the chef as he masterfully crafts the next pizza. Filled with class, Pato is truly wonderful. But wait there is more. What I have to rave about is the service. In my travels, I have experienced restaurants with great food but terrible service. Service is the difference between a classy restaurant and a classless restaurant. Prato gets an A+ in my book. Chelsea was my waitress. She was attentive, knowledgeable, a true gem. Should my journeys take me back to Winter Park, FL. Prato is where I will be returning to recapture an evening I will never forget. Go to Prato, you will love it too.

Very upscale, shiek atmosphere. Lounge music is at just the riggt volume to have a conversation. TVs above the bar, so this is not an ideal place to watch sports. I recommend it for cocktails.

WOW! Had dinner at Prato's last night with friends. It was EXCELLENT! Everything from appetizers to desserts was delicious. We shared bites in order to experience all the dishes! The atmosphere was very fun and interesting. (But don't sit facing the sun during early evening, you'll be blinded!) We had a booth on the left side of the bar and it was perfect. Our waiter, Tommy, was fantastic! He explained the menu with knowledge of the various dishes and even provided a menu marking the gluten-free items available for a member of our party. They make their own gluten-free pasta, and it was delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant is a shining star on a street where many confuse ambiance for good food. Don't get me wrong, the ambiance here is at least as stylish and trendy as anything else on Park Ave, but the food here is awesome too! I've been here several times and have never been disappointed. Everything I've had has been fresh, well-composed, and meticulously prepared. The service is always phenomenal - not just attentive and courteous, but engaging and enjoyable. The prices can be on the higher side, not unreasonable for food of this quality, but you can spend less than $20 for dinner if you are careful about what you order. My girlfriend and I love getting one of their pizzas (pretty much all good) or a pasta (all of their pasta is homemade)! And give their seasonal dishes a try, they are usually great! In short, go here! It's hard to imagine anyone not enjoying this experience!

Like the Amatriciana seafood pasta or the lamb ragu. Watermelon and feta salad. Used to have a squid ink pasta that was great. The fungi pizza gets rave reviews, but I find the crust here to require extra mastication. Widow maker is. Favorite. Also like the basil cucumber drink. Only thing I don't like is that when I ordered take out pizza once they quoted me 20 mins, but when I arrived it took forever for any server at the bar to Acknowledge me so that I could get it, pay and leave. The pizza was cold when it finally arrived in my hands. Yuck. Rating down to a 3 due to service and tAste of pizza.

We had a great meal. There was a good combination of traditional Italian favorites and dishes with a more innovative use of delicate favor combinations. This was surprising in that they actually worked well together. There was something for everyone in our party of four. The food quality was excellent. This was a great experience.
