The TWU Georgia State Conference and TWU Local 239 are hosting the School Board Candidate Forum. The forum is open to the public and will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 6:30 - 8:00pm at the Augusta-Richmond County Main Public Library, 823 Telfair St, Augusta, GA 30901.

The TWU Georgia State Conference opposes the amendment that would create Opportunity School Districts. The OSD can remove control of schools from local school systems. Read the information and vote NO! http://twugastateconf.org/2016/09/28/keep-georgia-schools-local/

The TWU Georgia State Conference held a meeting for member Locals on October 11, 2014. Locals 527, 279, 239, 556, and 526 were represented. Also present were Terry Daniels, COPE director, and Andrew Rangolan, DLAA.
