They don't even deserve one star because they turned me away at 5:30. Bernie said he's not taking anymore cars that they close at 5:30. I told him online it says they close at 6:00 and asked if they had it posted anywhere that 5:30 they stop taking cars. Of course he said "no" so I asked to see a manager- I had to go so far and leave work early just to be there at 5:30. Of course HE WAS the manager so I said who can I talk to above him so he gave me their actual store number and no-ones name. No wonder they have awful reviews - apparently they don't want to work or keep customers. I work longer hours than they do and it's bad enough the store closes at "6" with Dallas traffic you'd have to leave work at 4 to make it by "their" close time which would be 5 that they take their last car if they shut the doors at 5:30. If this is the hours they want the OWNER NEEDS TO CHANGE THE TIMES ON THIER WEBSITE. Better yet just close the store completely, I doubt they are making money if they treat and talk to everyone the way I just was.

My engine trew a rod at 120k and thats nothing for a toyota, dealer said that it was because of the low quality oil... Ive been doing my oil changes at this place for over a year. I was supossedly getting pennzoil.. But in reality they use recycled low quality oil.. Good thing i have extended warranty.

I bought a Groupon for 2 oil changes for $27 at Kwik Car at 8280 Spring Valley. After seeing the poor reviews (2 out of 5 stars) I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and go for it since it's basically what I would pay to do it once myself. I never take my car somewhere to get the oil changed. I always do it myself. I tell everyone it's the easiest car maintenence one can do themselves. It's simple right? Drain old oil, remove old filter and replace with new one, and then fill with new oil. Simple. Or so I thought. It seems they only find it necessary to drain the oil and refill. No need to replace the filter. Jackasses! I knew something was funny when I was in and out in 8 minutes and that's no exaggeration. Got home and popped the hood to find that there was no sign of the engine cover being removed (which has to be done to access the filter) again I gave them the benefit of the doubt and upon further inspection I notice the cap that covers the oil filter still had dust on it meaning it hadn't been touched. Went ahead and went to Autozone and removed the oil filter and compared it to a new Bosch filter which is what I had installed myself the last time I changed my oil. They are identical. Except what I assume is the batch number in which these two filters were produced. Supposedly Kwik Car installed a new Penzoil filter according to the invoice. This, ladies and gentlemen is why I do all my own work and don't trust shady ass shops like this place.

I had the same experience as everyone else. purchased a group and was told I needed am engine flush to proceed. I checked my own engine oil and levels were fine unlike what I was advised by uneducated mechanic. I ADVISE NO ONE EVER TO GO TO KWIK KAR ON SPRING VALLEY. other locations may have better customer service. But this was the worst oil change experience I've ever experienced. they also redeemed my groupon without performing the service!!!!! total crooks

I think should be 0. Horrible experience. just want to get an inspection. Was told to pull the car against the wall and when we parked, one crazy guy yelled at us like insane! Questioned us why we parked the car there by ourselves. This area is employees only etc.! Literally it's their customer communication problem, they blame customers for that, making customers feel like fools. Okay, anyways, they checked the car said there are several problems need to be done to pass state inspection, with a total of 300 dollars! Man, my car is in good condition and they just want to ripe you off because it's state required inspection. Bye, I would never come back to this store, not even any of their chains. They treated customers with no respect at all. Wish they are out of business soon, groupon deal wouldn't save the store.

Please avoid this place like a plague. I went there couple times for an oil change and refused all the upsells as usual. The fat manager noticed that I always refused the the extras and he tried new scare tactic said there is sand in my engine as the oil was really dirty and I need to pay couple hundreds to clean otherwise my engine will fail if I drive it home. I said no and I drove my car home safely. Pathetic liar. I wish corporate Kwik Kar office notice our reviews and shut down this place.

Poor customer service! They won't help you an hour before close. They are rude! I pulled up and 5 guys were standing eating lunch and I had to wait 25 minutes before j was approached. They just looked at me and kept talking. Don't go here, even if they have the groupon offer, they suck.

Bad experience!! I won't trust them any more. I went there with a Groupon ticket, and they talked me into changing a lot of oil things which spent around 200 dollars. I would be satisfied if they make the car better with that money, however, nothing is getting better. I had my car checked again in another big place, and it turned out that I didn't get proper services. Lacking of knowledge of cars is my bad, but Kwik Kar shouldn't only trick people to spend money with no good. Kwik Kar is not a place that can be trusted with your cars.
