Buyer Beware! I purchased a Groupon for 3 60% off and 2 half price full service oil changes at this facility last year with great expectations. Unfortunately after using the Kiwk Kar on Spring Valley Road for 4 oil changes (yes, I even went back a 4th time for half price oil change) my experience was much less than satisfying. I have no complaints about the building, waiting room, or even the wait times for service. However, this facility cuts corners by not completing the 20 point service promised on the Groupon and their website. Of my 4 visits, they failed to fill the wiper fluid 1 time, failed to vacuum the front interior 3 times, failed to check the air filter 3 times, failed to check the cabin air filter 4 times, and failed to wash the exterior windows (a service item on the receipt they hand you) 4 times. These were the obvious tasks I could verify. What about those I could not verify? It makes me wonder if any of the 20 point service items other than the oil change are happening at all? What bothers me is that all of the non-completed services were marked "completed" on receipts I received after each job. It was like pulling teeth. After each job I was forced to politely ask them to inspect the service items they failed to complete and their smiling faces and attitudes turned sour and their body language shouted "you are bothering me, go away". Look, I don't think it is too much to ask that a company do what they say they will do, Unfortunately this Kwik Kar store has a bad track record of NOT doing what they say they will do. Their lack of attention to their own service standards makes me wonder the quality of the work they actually do perform. Yea, they will put in new oil, but if you want the additional value of the 20 point service, you will be deeply disappointed.

Bad experience!! I won't trust them any more. I went there with a Groupon ticket, and they talked me into changing a lot of oil things which spent around 200 dollars. I would be satisfied if they make the car better with that money, however, nothing is getting better. I had my car checked again in another big place, and it turned out that I didn't get proper services. Lacking of knowledge of cars is my bad, but Kwik Kar shouldn't only trick people to spend money with no good. Kwik Kar is not a place that can be trusted with your cars.

DONT GO! I went for an oil change because I had bought a groupon. They said I needed a lot of work that was not needed. On top of bad costumer service they broke my inside door handle. When I called the next day and spoke with the owner he said he would not pay for it or anything because he believes that I broke it. So now I have to pay to have something fixed that they broke. WORST PLACE EVER TO GET AN OIL CHANGE!

Don't waste your time with the groupon. Every single time I have been to this place they've told me that my car needed a TON of work. At first I thought that maybe I'm just a dummy when it comes to cars, but then I took my new car there for my first oil change. They told me they couldn't work on my car because I had an oil leak and that I needed to take it into the dealership. When I did, I was told that there was absolutely nothing wrong with my car. I won't be returning to KK again.

I had the same experience as everyone else. purchased a group and was told I needed am engine flush to proceed. I checked my own engine oil and levels were fine unlike what I was advised by uneducated mechanic. I ADVISE NO ONE EVER TO GO TO KWIK KAR ON SPRING VALLEY. other locations may have better customer service. But this was the worst oil change experience I've ever experienced. they also redeemed my groupon without performing the service!!!!! total crooks

Worst experience I have ever had. They are scamming Groupon users by offering the Groupon and denying the actual service using loop holes. DO NOT GO HERE FOR AN OIL CHANGE. Go to the Belt line location in Richardson. Trustworthy people and timely service.

Overall my experience was ok. I had a Groupon and was not advised of the taxes and one additional qt. of oil until checkout time. I paid the $5.50 extra and wondered if I really saved anything after paying a total of $21.50 w/groupon. I read the reviews before going so I was prepared for the up sell . They advised me that I needed my radiator and engine flushed and that would be about $200 plus. I declined. They moved on. I had asked them if I could get the free brake inspection when I first got there and they said yes. When I paid I remembered that I saw no sign of a brake inspection. So I asked if they checked the brakes. One guy asked another guy who hesitated like "what" then said, "Oh yeah, they are 10% in the front and 15% in the back. The guy who was checking me out repeated exactly what the other guy said like I'm an auto mechanic and then said "You got a little while". He told me that would be about $299 for all four. All in all, OK I guess, not sure I'll go back. Oh yeah, I declined the brake service as well.

Awful/Atrocious experience! I brought my vehicle in for a safety inspection so I could get the registration & plates switched to Texas. I was asked to come look at my vehicle with the inspector and a second employee. They pointed out the CV boots were broken, my brakes were extremely worn and I needed a steering flush, which would cost roughly $900 before I could receive the necessary inspection sticker. I had just had my car looked at earlier this month and knew about the CV boots but not the rest of it - in fact, I was told that 80% of my brakes still remained and they were totally safe. I refused all repairs and went down to Brakes Plus in Plano who gave me the inspection sticker and even mentioned that broken CV boots are not a reason not to give an inspection sticker (a direct contradiction to what Kwik Kar told me). I honestly feel they were trying to scam me as I am a female and had out-of-state plates on my vehicle. Beware!! I will actively recommend that people not go to this shop and instead go to Brakes Plus (which quoted me 1/2 the cost for those repairs).
