A classic. Our kids loved the donuts. Mom and Dad enjoyed the $1 coffee.

welcome to my new addiction! are you kidding me?? these things are heaven in doughnut form. Soft, gooey, perfectly iced, pure flavor. These people know how to make a good doughnut. The twists and raised glazed are their signature items. amazing. The cake doughnuts are good, too. Nice amount of nutmeg flavor, but the star of the show is the twist. I'm now addicted, which is unfortunate because we headed back to kansas the very day i put one in my mouth. Now all i have are warm memories to comfort me. So if you are near, for the love of all that's good and noble, stop and get one or a dozen. just be sure to bring cash.

Umm, they seemed like I was bothering them. When I asked if they were open? Their reply is 'The door is open.' Not the best answer you could give someone who hasn't been there before, and I found it edging on rude. And they made me feel weird for coming in at 4. She apologized for not having the Boston Cream or Jelly, which was the reason I went, but it was not a very cool experience and they made me feel awkward. Like everyone stared at me from the back with this, 'why are you here' look on their face and attitude. >: ---------------EDIT The Owner contacted me to apologize but the staff is the problem here not the Owner.

Twists seem to be getting smaller and more misshappen. A quality control issue?

Hands down the best donut in New England (and I've had my fair share of donuts for comparison ;-) )

Pros: These donuts are delicious. The coffee is good, and very affordable, just a dollar for any size coffee. Cons: They only take cash/check, and they do not have an ATM nearby (you have to cross the street and take a short walk). The store is run on the premise that once the donuts are gone for the day, the donuts are gone. Great - because there is no waste at the end of the day, a bummer because by 10 on a Saturday everything but the plain donuts are gone. I've also been during the week, around 9 am, and the selection was decent, but very limited. I understand the business model, but if you want to get a specific type of donut you have to show up very very early.

Best donuts you'll find. Frostys does it right.
