Introduction
I was born and raised in the San Diego area and I grew up surrounded by a loving family, too numerous to list here. I love them all.
I picked up the Guitar at age the age of 17 and never put it down. I played in a number of garage and Top 40 Rock bands around the Southern California area until the age of 28. I enjoyed my time playing in bands, but now I just enjoy playing for my own enjoyment. I never was real comfortable in front of an audience, although I do still miss those days sometimes, especially my time playing along side my Best Friend and fellow Guitarist, Aaron.
To this day, rarely does a day go by that I don't pick up my Guitar, and I particularly like writing my own music, if only for myself and to satisfy my creative spirit.
I moved to Montana, at age 34, in search of a serene and peaceful existence surrounded by the beauty of the Mountains that I love. I subsequently met and married my lovely wife Jo, who is also a musician and a very creative person, and she has brought a great deal of richness to my life; namely: Clancy, Brittany. Jennifer, Tim, Jack, Hadley and many more folks comprised of her extended family and friends. We have been living in Stevensville, Mt with an assortment of critters; namely: Marley(my best bud who recently pass on), Gusty, Gilda, Marilu, Paco, Muncy, Mittens and Toaders.
I often wish I hadn't moved so far from my friends and family, but I have no real regrets; I've found my place.

Thanks Pat. I've been playing for 35 years, many of them professionally, and never learned music theory. Now I'm finally learning exactly what it is I've been doing all these years, and in terms I can communicate to others. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? I won't say you're a saint, that would be embarrassing for both of us I'm sure, but you've been very generous and helpful in this pursuit and I thank you so much for what you're doing. I shall do my best to pass it on.

Hey James, Thanks for taking the time to write. I'm so happy you found my channel and that you are enjoying it! That's terrific that you don't want to stop learning, after a life time of playing this is just bringing in another angle for you. Welcome aboard James!

An instrumental piece I wrote and dedicated to my friend Les, who passed earlier this year.Sorry about the sour puss (no pun intended, but it fits). The cat had me a bit rattled (I knew he was going to try to sing along, always does) and this one always makes me a bit sad. The performance is kinda rough, but it's too hot to try again. Like my friend Les, it is what it is, no less, no more, so one take does the trick.

I wish that if I was getting beat about the face by a dogs tail that I could yawn and look bored. My cat Munsy; he's so indifferent to most things, he just doesn't care. Might be a bit starved for attention also. Maybe I should let him in more, but he talks too much and always tells the same story over and over. Ya, this is a setup, but it happens, more or less, like this all the time.
