Liquid Robotics has launched four wave-powered robotic gliders in an attempt to set a new world record for the longest distance ever attempted by an unmanned vehicle. Traveling 25,000 miles over 300 days, the wave gliders will also collect more than 2 million data points, helping to build the record of oceanic knowledge. And you can follow the gliders' journey using Google Earth! Read our blog post to find out how to keep up with the gliders and their observations.
