I am a vegetarian and they have lot of dishes with vegetarian option and it tastes really good. Love their ambiance too. Freshly baked garlic breads are mouth watering

My BFF and I are thrilled to have this cozy, comfy, cute cafe half-way between our homes to meet, eat, and catch-up on our lives. The woodsy-atmosphere wins my heart every time, and my friend loves the food, even though as a vegetarian, her choices are limited. There is outdoor seating as well, although it may not always be open. We appreciate that we are never rushed out, and we enjoy the "coloring sheet" across each table--and provided crayons--always having fun with that! The food is good, but a "value menu" would be nice. I'd give it 5 stars if the prices were a bit lower and all the servers were friendly. (Most are!)The breakfasts are best, so order before noon! You can request menu substitutions, but their flexibility is somewhat limited. It's worth driving out to Davis to try out--it's right off the freeway, and near several nice parks.

Absolutely the best brunch in town. For the quality of the food and the price. The pizza omelet is the best !

We went excitedly for a St. Patrick's Day corned beef dinner, a birthday treat for Dad, but boy! were we disappointed. The corned beef was tough. We could barely cut it with the table knife. The cabbage, also tough. The carrots (which were huge, way bigger than a normal family-style dinner table carrot) were hard as a brick. Fortunately, the red potatoes were done nicely and tasted good. For me only, the meat was also a disappointment, because I like corned beef au natural, without all the spices. The rest of the family liked the flavor. Well, everybody enjoyed the luscious desserts!

Love their breakfast, especially the french toast. They can get busy especially on Davis holidays, I will avoid those days. Absolutely our favorite breakfast place!

Caffe Italia has been a part of the community for years. My family enjoys coming for a comfortable meal with a comfortable environment and a great selection of food Thank you to all our servers and years of consistently good food. I enjoy the minestrone soup and a fresh salad

Our family eats here at least once every 1-2 weeks. The food is a favorite for our kids who are 7 and 8! And my husband and I can always find something that is healthy and/or satisfying. The ambience is very kid friendly and comfortable, yet the meals served with consistency and care. We love the breakfast, lunches and dinners and love that we are supporting a local business.

my favorite thing besides the nice food is the butcher paper on table and the fun of drawing (if so talented) or doodling / writing and all else. Private seating and the covered patio, nice ...For my need of non-dairy the choices were a little limited-- but beautifully protected by the server who knew how each entre was prepared - wishing for more choice for carafe servings on wine. A single person cannot drink a bottle and one glasses is not quite enough. The spinach used to be cooked in butter -- perhaps olive oil would do-- but changed recently? nice presentation - will be back. I think you have wifi & that will be good next time Thx BJ
