Here at CilantroMex, we have two passions: bringing you the freshest, most delicious Mexican food in New England, and being the best neighbors that we can be.

Luckily for us, those two passions go hand in hand. When we go looking for the freshest foods and the best products, we find them right here in New England. We partner with Farm Fresh Rhode Island and with other suppliers of locally grown foods for every menu item that we can buy locally. We haven’t figured out how to grow avocados here, but if we could…!

It's all about the fresh!

I ordered a burrito with spicy steak and everything in it was cold. If you like cold food then this is the place for you. Also, when I first got there I asked about the fish and the girl showed me scraps of fish. It made me wonder how long it had been there and there wasn't even enough for one serving. I went there in the mood for something good to eat and I left irritated with my appetite gone. 3/25/14

When I say I go to this place a lot. I mean a lot... like 2 or 3 times in a week. Although recently I have been going less. I had a bad experience that went like this. I came in around 2:30ish after the lunch rush hour. I was the only guy in the place and the phone rang and the guy about to make my order said. "I'm sorry I need to take that call" and had me wait. Finally when he got to me he started my order but I noticed everything (the meats) all looked dried out.. Like they were sitting in those tins for too long. Good business advice. Never keep a customer who comes in waiting for a phone call and secondly refresh the food every so often. I hope they get back on track.

If you like burrito joints this one is quite good. More choices of meat and flavors than the chains. Highly recommend for this type of food.
