Complex Event Processing, or CEP Software
Introduction
Curated information and perspectives about Complex Event Processing technology, which many consider "like a database, but for information in motion."  CEP is used to build applications and analytics against streaming data. Notable firms who have publicly declared they use  CEP are dominated by capital markets firms, and include CME Group, JPMorgan, and RBC Capital Markets. CEP is also in use at firms in the Telecommunications, Web, Intelligence, etc.
