latoga photography - Photo a Day: Super Bowl City Panorama (38 of 366)

So just realizing that the default configuration for G+ when you connect an app to it (like wordpress) is to only share the posts with yourself. So the last 36 days of photos from my 2016 Photo A Day project have been getting to G+ but no one's been seeing them.

What an asinine default setting G+ team. As I say to my product management and engineering teams from time to time: "engineers who were raised by wolves would know better..."

But I've digressed...so the setting has been fixed and everyone should start seeing my daily photos. This one was from 3 days ago. I encourage you to click through to blog and view the previous 35...and I'd love to hear your comments! I'll try to repost a few of the historical ones over the next few days.

And before 2016 gets too far along, I continued my 9 year tradition of picking my favorite photos from 2015.  Thanks to +Jim Goldstein for starting me on this path so many years ago and continuing his year end blog project!
Continuing my yearly tradition here is my favorite photos of 2015 (past years favorites are available for a trip down memory lane). This marks the 9th year of participating in this blogging ritual …

Mrs. Gets to go to Mardi Gras, but I got to see some of the floats first...
This past week I attended a private event in New Orleans where we had the privilege of previewing some of the Mardi Gras floats that will be in this year's parades. These were all theme park floats that were built early this year as to be featured during the closing dinner of this private event.

Totally random photo.  Been spending this past weekend doing web site tune-up that required strolling down photograph memory lane...and found this random gem from 2007...anyone have fond memories of Vista?

Ok, who stole the Golden Gate Bridge? It's supposed to be right here...who knew when they closed the bridge for maintenance this weekend it meant turning the lights off too!

So the plan was to drive the long way around to the Marin headlands to be able to photograph the Golden Gate Bridge with no cars on it. This is the view from Battery Spencer. It's actually disconcerting to be on a fog encased bluff by yourself and not seeing that what you know is right there...
