I've been going to Hobee's for over 20 years. The staff is kind and gets to know their regulars well. My kids at on a first name basis with several of the waiters, and it's already a pleasant visit. It's not always quick, but I don't mind. The tea is a kick, and it picks more of a lunch than coffee. The coffee cake is an institution. The Tamale Pie is my stand by.

Their pruneyard omelette with lots of turkey bacon and mushrooms really hits the spot!

Excellent service and food. They gave my crying baby toys to play with. I recommend the, "Los Gatos Chipotle Alfredo Pasta" plate.

Two of the five dishes were served lukewarm. The spicy orange tea was spicy cinnamon tea tasting of liquid hot tamales, even a server commented, "it really has a kick to it" alluding to how impossible it was to drink. The coffee cake was served cold and pass on the cherry almond coffee cake as it's over 4 inches high and pretty bland - stick to the blueberry! Had to ask multiple times for water to be served. Have had better luck at other hobees!

Nice waiters, clean tables, nice atmosphere, but the breakfast food is just OK. Their self proclaimed world famous coffee cake was dry and quite bland.
