We interviewed Jen Ray, who makes these awesome drawings, for the art podcast . We talk about painting, meeting your husband while he's dressed as Huckleberry Hound, and the Deep Purple cover which is the secret to everything

Maybe our best interview yet, Al is often as or more insightful than any of the fine artists we've had on--The longest running cartoonist in history gives snappy answers to stupid questions about: how not to talk down to kids, Jews inventing comic books, Al inventing real inventions, Lithuania, what Stan Lee was like back in the day, mammals vs reptiles, knowing your craft and perfecting it.

PS
If you haven't seen any posts from me in the last few days besides this, you need to send me a message on here and tell me what circles you want to be in

Ever wonder wtf is up with conceptual artists? Or you don't wonder because you're fancy like that but want to hear one talk all about working at CBGBs, being a dirtbag, the town of Goose Creek, Thomas Pynchon, Los Angeles as an art subject, philosophy, art fairs, owning a bar, and octopuses? Well then this episode of We Eat Art where we interview Drew Heitzler is where it's at.

What's it like to be at ground zero of a revolution? What's it like to have that art be a functional part of the revolution? What's it like to have to flee the country because your government hates your art? What's it like trying to follow Uncanny X-Men in Egypt before the internet? Ganzeer answers it all in this suuuuuper fun interview
