Columbia, MO: Another hot and sunny afternoon is in the offing for us on a Wednesday. Expect highs to climb back into the middle and upper 90s later this afternoon.

We'll continue with the 90s through Thursday, but by late week and into the weekend, all eyes will be on the leftovers of Isaac. A lot of our computer models are wanting to bring this system into the Midwest and that will provide a good opportunity for prolonged rain activity from midday Friday and continuing into the weekend. It's still a bit early to pin point exact rainfall amounts, but somewhere in the neighborhood of 1-3" of rainfall looks possible.

Columbia, MO: Look for a few extra clouds around the area today with relatively warm temperatures as well. Highs climb back into the lower and middle 90s this afternoon.

Overnight, skies will become partly to mostly cloudy with lows in the upper 60s.

Saturday will bring in another round of clouds with highs in the middle and upper 80s. Late Saturday night and Sunday, a cold front will move through allowing for a mostly cloudy sky, and, more importantly, a very good opportunity for showers and t-storms around the region. Temperatures will be cooler as well, with highs in the lower 80s.

Columbia, MO: A cold front will move through the region this afternoon that will give us a good opportunity for showers and t-storms after lunch time. Expect mostly cloudy skies otherwise with a southerly wind.

Tonight we'll keep that chance of storms around in the overnight hours, with lows dropping back to the 60-degree mark. Skies will begin to clear on Friday behind the cold front, and much cooler air arrives for a weekend with highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s!

Columbia, MO: The weekend is shaping up to be VERY pleasant - we'll see temperatures in the mid-80s for today with plenty of sunshine, and practically an identical day for Saturday. We'll keep lower humidities around Mid-MO after the passage of a cold front; winds will also be a bit breezy, out of the north at 10-15 mph.

Tonight expect to feel a bit cooler than the last few weeks! Overnight lows will drop to the upper 50s, with a mostly clear sky.

Sunday, the good news continues with the chance of showers and thunderstorms. Enjoy your weekend!
