POWER!!! I haz it.

Our electric company has told us there will be a power outage this coming Sunday for 12 hours. Half of them will find me fast asleep but... the other half... I have gadgets, man. I need ma juice.

So I gathered up my external batteries to charge them up and get them ready. I knew I had more than I needed but even I am a little embarrassed at the pile. And I'm pretty sure there's one more in the car glove box.

I could probably fire up the microwave oven if I needed fresh popcorn to watch my downloaded Nextflix on my tablet... Or... Or... Or...

And lighting at the Space Needle!

And that damn tanker truck is still lying down on the job and blocking both interstate highways in downtown.

What a day.

A giant tanker fell over on its side (and can't get up) near the intersection of two interstate highways in Seattle just before noon. Seattle traffic is have a very bad no good horrible day... But, you can pretty much bowl down the lanes in the center of town...

"I set my camera up on a tripod on a busy street corner, with a sign that read, "FREE PORTRAIT". Here are the People of Fremont. "

This is about as Seattle as it gets - both that this guy did this - in the most Seattle-ist of neighborhoods - and the photos themselves and even the people. If I saw this with zero context, I'd have known this was Seattle.

Why Roe v. Wade challenges keep coming and will keep coming for a while yet:

"You see male people in the legislature writing statutes. 50% of the time, you have a male judge. From personal experiences in life - and those lawsuits -
I don't think that men have any ability to make a judgement in that area. I think it's a woman's prerogative and yet they're not involved. But that's a decision, I think, that only a woman can make."

Texas Judge Sam Sparks on Vice News Tonight just now.

He gets it. Thank you. And let's hope more listen.
