Basic Information
I went here because I was sick with a bronchial infection, they're nearby, and they happen to take our insurance. Extremely mediocre experience. Staff was very unfriendly, zero smiles or sympathy, no kleenex in the waiting room, and I didn't even think the nurse or physician who checked my vitals knew what she was doing. She never checked me for the flu, and she said I sounded fine when she checked my lungs with her stethoscope (meanwhile, I could hear my own wheezing). I called a few days later (on a Monday) because I still wasn't feeling better and wanted to see if I needed another course of the antiobiotic or a different antiobiotic, and nobody could help me. The doctor was out sick, and there was nobody else there who could do something as simple as phoning in a refill to the pharmacy. (I understand if the doctor is sick, but any doctor running her own practice should have at least some back up help for her clients.) I called multiple times, since I had to fly out of town the next day for work, and they paged the doctor but there was no response. There is no way I would choose this doctor to be my main provider, and I've had better service at an urgent care clinic.

I love this salon. Great ambiance and the owner is very involved and provides a personal touch, and it shows in the fact that his staff takes great care of people. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of service and given that you're in the heart of Soho; for example, a manicure here is $25 but I know it costs $36 at Frederick Fekkai down the street, and I actually like this place much better. Definitely worth trying out.

Revised review: we initially had a negative experience as a salesperson here sold my wife a sofa with a loose weave that was inappropriate for cats, even though the salesperson knew we had a cat. They initially refused to do anything about this, but after a few phone calls with corporate, they agreed to an exchange in which we had to incur a restocking fee. We dealt with the store manager (Judy) this time, and I must say, she was exceedingly nice and helpful. She recommended a microfiber sofa and allowed us to apply our credit to items on sale, such that we felt we got good value.
