Elegantly serving San Antonio daily since 1980. Lush landscaping and ambiance makes Crumpets an ideal setting for bridal luncheons, rehearsal dinners, receptions, dates and family reunions. Our specialties include Beef Wellington, Rack of Lamb, Shrimp Montrachet, and most impressive the "Trilogy".

A perfect place for a very romantic evening . This is by far the best restaurant in our area and maybe in San Antonio , the food and service above excellent, it is a pleasant and calm restaurant , you do not feel rushed and it is not noisy , the decor is charming , and the patio is like been in a beautiful forest . We only have had great dinners and lunches at reasonable prices. the wine list witch has lots of choices, is priced at probably 30% bellow other restaurant We went back the last week and Crumpets is still has great as always , and the prices are very reasonable.

Was debating on where to take my mother for her birthday when we passed by the restaurant . It was our first time here and fell in love with the setting. We were seated next to a window and had an AMAZING view of the patio which lead to the wooded forest which had a creek running through it. The plants and flowers around the restaurant we so beautiful and well taken care of. We all decided to order something different so we wouldn't miss out on anything. Between the pasta, salmon, duck breast and lamb I would have to say my favorite was the Beef Wellington, which may I say was cooked to PERFECTION!! Staff was friendly and service was EXCEPTIONAL. We definatly will be coming back

Not good. Went for dinner and was very unimpressed. We were the first people in and were seated and waited on promptly. The food took about 25 minutes, duck and liver entrées. The potatoes on the duck were barely warm, one of the 2 in the mixed veggie was undercooked. The duck sauce was VERY strong, so much so that I couldn't taste the duck. It was also tough. After finishing our meals, we waited almost 30 minutes for our server to show up again (there are now 5 tables). The check with credit card has now been sitting here almost 10 minutes. Server has walked by the table twice now. The service started out good, but quickly went bad. The price is really high for the portion size and quality. I won't be coming back. The identity of the place is confused. They claim to be a European restaurant but have photos of American locations on the walls. A giant painting of a Spanish/Mexican village. About half the menu is American food. The only real European style food is the Italian entrées.

Very nice dinner . the food was very good and exactly as we ordered, large portions and good choices. Great wine list not to expansive. We really enjoyed our evening and will be back . We invited friends for dinner at crumpets last night . it was better than ever, the food ,the service , all perfect .

Ate here and was disappointed. Drab and depressing atmosphere. Staff seemed angry to be there. Slow service. Only mediocre food. Don't got here and spend 30 dollars for an okay meal.

hadn't been here in a while and boy did I miss their fresh seafood, they really know how to grill salmon perfectly. i asked for more vegetables and less potatoes, they did it, no hassle. be careful about the bread-hot and buttery- you'll fill up on it, still love this place

Went for Valentines'. Had a reservation, but was seated 30 minutes late. However, they did give us each a free glass of wine while we were waiting. The food was excellent, but the service was just terrible! If I'm going to be paying $125-$150 for a dinner for 2 and some wine, I want top notch service. The service was about on par with Taco Cabana :(
