#ProTip: Be nice to your steering wheel! When turning, don’t hold it all the way to the right or left for more than a few seconds, doing so can damage the power steering pump. However, occasionally drumming along to the beat of the music on your steering wheel is fine - we do it too.

Ever thought of driving to the MOON? According to a study done by the Harvard Health Watch, the average American spends 101 minutes driving PER DAY. That means in a lifetime you spend 37,935 hours in the car and drive around 798,000 miles - approximately the distance it takes to drive to the moon more than 3 times!

Don’t get caught speeding in Switzerland! While driving 180 mph, a man was caught by police and fined $1,000,000! This is the most expensive speeding fine given to date. The speeding penalties in Switzerland are based on the speed and salary of the driver.

Happy #PresidentsDay! The answer to yesterday’s #trivia: William Taft (1909-1913) was the first US President to own a personal car. Bonus answer: One of the cars he owned was a Baker Electric, a very high-tech car for its time because it was battery powered, didn’t require a hand crank to start and was virtually maintenance free!

When is the last time you checked the tread on your tires? Most state laws require tires to have a tread depth of at least 2/32”. An easy way to check this is by taking a penny, turning Lincoln’s head upside down and putting it between the tread blocks of your tire. If you can see the top of his head, your tire tread is worn down to 2/32” or below, and it’s time to get new tires.
