In this edition of the #Zenith #Bank #Economic #Intelligence Weekly Report, #Nigerians have fully embraced the use of point of sales (PoS) channels. This is evidenced by the growth in the #value and #volume of #transactions consummated through PoS channels in 2016. Also, Nigeria’s Manufacturing Purchasing Manager’s Index (PMI) stood at 52.0 index points in December 2016, up from the 46.0 index points recorded in the preceding month, according to the Central of Bank of Nigeria (CBN). The index had recorded decline in the preceding eleven months.
