That was very cool. I remember the retro show that I first liked the foot steps sound. It was Adam 12. I would be asleep by the time the show was over. Silly, I know. :)

No I totally get what you're saying. I love watching period films like Amadeus because the sounds of the shoes on the wooden floorboards is so peaceful. There must be more out there, I just haven't found them. I think also a lot of films from the 70's had more focus on making the little details of sounds stand out than say over a building exploding.
