Newman’s goal for the site is nothing short of a revolution in medical practice. He wants doctors to base their treatments on good scientific evidence, not tradition, hunch, and the fear that patients will see them as doing nothing. And he wants patients to start demanding such care.

Such large scale well funded piracy operations have the potential of decimating Hollywood. As their revenues from media and online sales shrink, they will be forced to rely on their other business models, namely theater tickets and merchandize. So my movie ticket will go from $13 to $23 to $43 at which point I will stop going to the movies. And then Hollywood will need to close doors. That would be unfortunate.

Chiang Mai often comes on top as the best destination for digital nomads. At least, it used to before the recent changes in Thailand visa policies and crackdowns. I spent first half of 2014 there and haven’t heard or experienced any problems with using co-working spaces. Moreover, about a month or so ago Chiang Mai immigration rep confirmed that digital nomads are not targeted. That’s why this blog post might be an interesting insight if you plan to go there, and do not panic everything ended up well: http://www.johnnyfd.com/2014/09/live-updates-immigration-crackdown-in.html
I'm sitting here at PunSpace the coworking space in Chiang Mai, and about an hour ago 20 armed uniformed police and immigration officials stormed in and detained everyone.  Currently 18 tourists are in a police van being take...

Hello All,
After 3 months in Andalucia it's time to move to another place (Sofia for a change). Trying to lighter the load, I wanted to exchange a huge amount of coins we accumulated. No luck.

The sentence at the bottom says: "We keep 'Little Red Riding Hood ' out of schools because of the bottle of wine in her basket. Why not assault weapons"? Frankly, I could not believe it(I mean, Little Red Riding Hood part), so did some quick search: could not find any original statements from Culver City Unified School District (that's in CA), but there is an article in LA Times confirming above statement http://articles.latimes.com/1990-05-19/local/me-82_1_red-riding-hood. Wow!
