MOCK CAR CRASH DEMONSTRATION
Fatal car crashes are the leading cause of death for young people. On Tuesday, April 18th, Viroqua High School students will be witness to a Mock Car Crash demonstration under the leadership of the Viroqua Police Department, Viroqua Fire Department/Emergency Services, and a few of our high school students who have agreed to be a part of this important demonstration. Students will see and hear what victims of a car crash would experience after a crash and the effects of drinking and driving. The demonstration will take place on the west parking lot of the high school building at 1:00 pm. Please contact Kathy Klos, HS Principal, at 608.637.1605 for more information.

Mrs. Campbell's Environmental Science Class volunteered on April 6th to help cleanup at Second Nature at Read's Creek. The nursery suffered heavy damage during the flood last fall. Students recovered about 100 planting pots and cleared debris. They were able to see the flood damage first hand and learned about plans to avoid future damage. They also saw a bald eagle nest and observed the female eagle there. Thank you students!
