5 Powerful Steps To Increase Your Business With The Help Of Promotional Gifts
5 Powerful Steps To Increase Your Business With The Help Of Promotional Gifts
#businessgrowth #startup

Gifts are loved by one and all. Gifts are a way of expressing gratitude and marketing gifts are no exception. They should be given to your customer to thank them for using your service or buying from you and most of the customers are more than happy to receive gifts from companies they pay patronage to. The thank you gifts cannot only be presented to existing customers but also to potential customers when they try a new product from your company. This would encourage them to buy other products, which will increase the company sales and profits.

Because it is a give away product does not mean that it should be cheap and it does not benefit your customers or clients in some way.

This practice can be made more advantageous to you as a business owner by making it part of your marketing and branding strategy, which would help you expand your business quicker and effectively along with earning customer goodwill. To make it marketing oriented, a lot of planning should be put into it as you do not want to loose the essence of why your gifting a gift in the first place.

Sending promotional gifts is a way you can reward your clients and customers, to appreciate their kind cooperation through out the years; this will make customers feel that they are valued by you. Flyers are discarded the moment they are received, and are seldom read. But when a person is gifted with something that he/she can use, there is a probability that they will not only enjoy it, but they will also keep it for sometime, might be for several years and until the time they have it, they will remember the company.

Step One

of the better methods is to print the name of your company on the gift. This doesn’t involve any strategy and can be implemented even if there is lack of imagination. The Name and Brand recognition of your company can be established by getting the logo of your company or information of your company printed on the gift. This also helps build recognition among potential customers.

Sep Two

Also give the customers the gifts that last long. The longer the gift lasts the longer the customer will remember your company. Gifts like pen, key chain, coffee mug, calendar, refrigerator magnets, etc. which not only lasts forever but are something that is observed and used many times a day. There are certain gifts, which can fit the budget, promote marketing and at the same time serve the purpose of gift.

Step Three

Calendars are one of the most opted gifts by small companies as promotional products. They aren’t expensive and are used all year round. Following them are office supplies. Stationary tub, embedded pens, sticky pads and diaries containing the logo of the company are very good gift ideas too. Desktop accessories are the next best things. Things like pen stands, paperweight are hot giveaways.

Step Four

For home gifts like fridge magnets, coffee mugs and thermo-flask make ideal gifts. They, too, get noticed many times a day. The good thing about them is they can be modeled in different colours, shapes, sizes and styles and can be unique to your company when compared to other’s promotional products. And hence, they are more like collectible items. Innovation can increase the interest of the user in this regard.

Step Five

Key chains are also something which is carried everywhere and they don’t even cost too much. Usually people use the promotional ones to store spare keys. T-shirts and caps are a bit expensive, but are worth the investment. They are usually worn outside and people around can easily sight the company’s name and logo and they function like a walking billboard. You can also decide to sell a few of them from your company website.

Creativity is the key here with all these steps mentioned above to selecting a right gift to market and so is the money. The more the money is invested into promotional gifts, the better your chance of build a loyal fan and customer base for the long haul.

Do bare in mind that the gifts should be selected that has the potential to earn you maximum returns.

How To Grow Your Facebook Page Likes Inexpensively #facebook #businessgrowth

When working with clients to help them expand their reach and grow their brand. One of the things that seems to hit a break wall for them is Facebook. I must admit it took me around two solid active years to grow my Facebook following and likes to over 60,000. But saying that it can be done much quicker. I've known many who have done just that.

But for the rest of you who feel out of your depth here are a few simple, practical and easy things you can do to get the ball rolling.

Don't for get if you would like some help in managing your Facebook business page and any other social media platforms like twitter, Instagram I and my small team can help manage them for you. Check out our social media managing package.

For you to enjoy effective Facebook marketing you must have an audience. Without a large fan base that’s relevant it’s a bit like speaking to a room that’s empty. You would be wasting your time. To build that large fan base and to enjoy successful marketing on Facebook you need to be proactive. Getting ‘Likes’ is the first step in converting a casual audience to a fan and eventually a paying customer. Let’s look at the top fan building tips you can implement.

#1 Use Social Plug Ins and Website Widgets

Install social plug ins like Facebook Like Box on your website or blog, which allow your visitors to ‘Like’ your Facebook page right from your website. There are many other plug ins that you can install easily to the back end of your website.

#2 Create a Like Gated App

You can provide valuable content using an app that requires visitors to ‘Like’ your page before they can access your content. How this works is really simple. The app provides an image along with a message that instructs the visitor to click ‘Like’ to see the content on your page.

How To Generate More Leads And Sales Within Your Business

watch more videos on fresh viral news.

#3 Engagement Ads

Most marketers see Facebook adverts as a way to encourage users to purchase something. Engagement ads are different because they aim to market your Facebook Page rather promoting the sale of a certain product.

#4 Get Your Existing Fans to Share Your Facebook Page Content

Your current fans are key to your building your fan base and watching it grow. When you publish relevant content on your page, your existing fans are more likely to share that material and that can lead to new fans finding their way to your site. Posting regularly up to date information also helps to encourage your fans to share the content you post.

#5 Email Signatures

An often overlooked way to grow your Facebook Page fans is to include an email signature on all your emails. It’s easy to implement and very effective. If you are like most businesses, every day you send out a number of emails and so having the link to your social networking sites on your emails promotes your growth.

These 5 tips are a great place to start to grow your Facebook ‘Likes’ and thus your fan base. As your fans grow and they share your content with their friends, who then share your content with their friends, you will see your reach grow and with that your fan base.

How to Successfully Life Map Your Dreams to a Vision of Success #personaldevelopment

Success is more than economic gains, titles, and degrees. Planning for success is about mapping out all the aspects of your life. Similar to a map, you need to define the following details: origin, destination, vehicle, backpack, landmarks, and route.

Origin: Who you are

A map has a starting point. Your origin is who you are right now. Most people when asked to introduce themselves would say, “Hi, I’m Rachael and I am a 37-year old, entrepreneur.” This does not tell you about who I' am; it only tells you my present preoccupation. To gain insights about yourself, you need to look closely at your beliefs, values and principles aside from your economic, professional, cultural, and civil status. Moreover, you can also reflect on your experiences to give you insights on your good and not-so-good traits, skills, knowledge, strengths, and weaknesses.

Upon closer inspection, you would find that Rachael was a highly motivated, generous, service-oriented, but can be impatient sometimes. Her inclination was in the business and start-up field. Furthermore, she believed that life must serve a purpose, and that wars were destructive to human dignity.

Destination: A vision of who you want to be

“Who do want to be?” this is your vision. Now it is important that you know yourself so that you would have a clearer idea of who you want to be; and the things you want to change whether they are attitudes, habits, or points of view. If you hardly know yourself, then your vision and targets for the future would also be unclear. Your destination should cover all the aspects of your being: the physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual.

Continuing Rachael's story, after she defined her beliefs, values, and principles in life, she decided that she wanted to have a life dedicated in serving her fellowmen.

Vehicle: Your Mission

A vehicle is the means by which you can reach your destination. It can be analogised to your mission or vocation in life. To a great extent, your mission would depend on what you know about yourself. Bases on Rachael’s self-assessment, she decided that she was suited to become a business consultant, and that she wanted to become one. Her chosen vocation was entrepreneurship. Describing her vision-mission fully: it was to live a life dedicated to serving her fellowmen as a entrepreneur helping others discover and find themselves through business dreams.

Travel Bag: Your knowledge, skills, and attitude

Food, drinks, medicines, and other travelling necessities are contained in a bag. Applying this concept to your life map, you also bring with you certain knowledge, skills, and attitudes. These determine your competence and help you in attaining your vision. Given such, there is a need for you to assess what knowledge, skills, and attitudes you have at present and what you need to gain along the way. This two-fold assessment will give you insights on your landmarks or measures of success.

Rachael realised that she needed to gain professional knowledge and skills on business management so that she could start her own consulting business. She knew that she was a bit impatient with people so she realised that this was something she wanted to change.

Landmarks and Route: S.M.A.R.T. objectives

Landmarks confirm if you are on the right track while the route determines the travel time. Thus, in planning out your life, you also need to have landmarks and a route. These landmarks are your measures of success. These measures must be specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time bound. Thus you cannot set two major landmarks such as earning a master’s degree and a doctorate degree within a period of three years, since the minimum number of years to complete a master’s degree is two years.

Going back to Rachael as an example, she identified the following landmarks in her life map: completing a degree in business management by the age of 27; starting her own business by the age of 30; becoming and expert business management and start-ups by the age of 32;and starting and running her own consultancy business, writing a book, become a renowned public speaker by the age of 40.

Anticipate Turns, Detours, and Potholes

The purpose of your life map is to minimise hasty and spur-of-themoment decisions that can make you lose your way. But oftentimes our plans are modified along the way due to some inconveniences, delays, and other situations beyond our control. Like in any path, there are turns, detours, and potholes thus; we must anticipate them and adjust accordingly.

How To Multiply Your Profits, Slash Your Burden Into Half, And Free Your Time! #timemangement #marketing #business #starrtup

When it comes to maximising your time effectively when running your own business, most entrepreneurs and business owners find it quite hard to do so or know where to even begin to carve out some precious much needed time for themselves or quality time with their family. After being in business for 13 years I can truly say if it was not for the saving grace of outsourcing some of the work I do over at Rachael Academy I'm not sure if Rachael Academy would have been as successful as it has been, because I'm sure I would have been burnt out a long time ago.

You know as entrepreneurs one of the most difficult things we find hard to do is delegate. Some of us might not even want to admit to that and some might not even notice the trait, but when we choose to ignore that we need a little help with our business once in a blue moon we miss out on great opportunities along the line.

The Power Of Outsource Synergy

So to give you a helping hand I've created for you this free ecourse to help you see the benefits of outsource some of your business projects to allow you more time to really concentrate on the areas of your business you really enjoy and capture back why you stated your business in the first place. Throughout this ecourse you will learn how to multiply your profits, slash your burden into half and free your time!

I'm going to try and break down the information into three parts so you have time to read through it and maybe take some notes.

In this first part, we'll cover the importance of leveraging upon other people’s efforts. This is because it is a very essential and powerful tool if you want to have a successful business and earn an abundant of income. So, without further delay, let’s begin!

What is Leverage?

The power or capability to influence, individuals and events

If you are new to the business world, then you need to understand what leverage is. Don’t just start a business without knowing what is happening in the market. You must know the things or strategies done by business owners to stay competitive and successful. So, if you are interested to start a business, then take some time to study these following facts. These facts will open up your mind and clear all your confusions and questions to why some businesses really do well and succeed.

According to the dictionary, leverage is a power or capability or to influence individuals, decisions, and events. For the business term, it means just what is written on the tin. The meaning given by dictionary but applied in a different way. If you are in business, the power of leverage is the way you use to strengthen other things processes, and individuals to execute a lot more than you can do by yourself. The concept of leveraging is definitely vital in any business endeavors.

In the business world, the two most known way of leveraging is money and time. There is a limit that any business or individual can have in terms of money and time. So, it is important to leverage on other people’s money and time. Every successful business takes advantage on leverages. You know that there is only 24 hours per day and no matter how capable you are, but if you don’t leverage, you are limited by the time in any given day. Let's take for for example, in a business like network marketing, if you have the access to say a thousand people, you would probably generate more income in your business in one given day. What about in a year? That would be a really great year for you and your business.

Leveraging from One-One Entrepreneurs

Financial leverage through borrowing to boost ROI.
Using the internet from home to connect with other countries and not be restricted geographically.
Sell more products and deliver digitally rather than physically.

In any kind of business, the power of leverage is absolutely needed and is important. For those of you out there who want to get into business, this is the first thing that you must know. This is also another thing that you should consider. If you were to get into online marketing or even as a one-man entrepreneur, then you definitely need to leverage. For you to fully understand the importance of leveraging as an internet marketer or as a one-man entrepreneur lets look at the benefits you gain to produce:

Individuals apply financial leverage when they utilise borrowed money to boost their ROI’s or when they utilise options to limit huge numbers of stock at a cost far lower than outright purchase.

Home businesses utilise leverage when they work online. By doing that, they remove the boundaries of geography and time as well as leveraging their advertising dollar since it would probably cost you about a similar amount to make an announcement that gets only into a small number of individual as it does to make an advertisement that goes through global market.

If you are managing a small store, you can only focus or be contented with the numbers of visitors passing by your store everyday. But you can change some of those passing trade into customers by going online as well and using the power of affiliate marketing and getting others to affiliate with your physical products online. You now have the potential to get huge traffic numbers in hundreds of thousands or even in the millions. This is not only for any traffic but for targeted traffic. This is how leveraging can help grow your business. More traffic means more income.

Apply and leverage tools like Google AdWords and Google's technologies to determine your targeted traffic and send it to your website. Don’t you know that internet is one of the greatest levers that has ever been invented?

The importance of leveraging for online retailers is that it can help you to attract customers, sell more products and process sales invoices. Additionally, you can utilise the internet and credit agencies to process every single transaction giving you more freedom and time to concentrate on your business. With computer systems, a lot of things can be done in just one day or 7 days a week. Now, this is what leverage can do.

This is the importance of leveraging as a business owner or entrepreneur, the online marketing strategies as well as for one-man entrepreneur. It's not that easy to become successful in internet marketing though it may very easy to use the internet. Without enough knowledge about internet marketing and leveraging, you can not guarantee a path to success.

This is very true and applicable also for one-man entrepreneurs; you can never become successful on your own. A third party or a certain tool is always needed to become more successful therefore, leverage.

Creating a Win Win Leverage

One man entrepreneurs: Be in business for yourself not by yourself.
Use outsource freelancers for tasks that don't need to be done by you.
Get a manager of supervisor for every aspect of your business that requires to much of your time of presence.

When it comes to using leverage in a business, there is always a win-win situation or a fair situation. The power of leverage can be considered also as win-win situation. let's just say that you are a certain kind of company and you are also providing your employees the chance to earn at the same time, they aid you to build and make your business successful. This is a win, win leverage for your businesses whether it’s offline or online. This is also important for a single-man entrepreneur. In fact, you can never be successful on your own.

When it comes to offline businesses, use the power of leverage in order for your business to work efficiently and become profitably by leveraging the number of employees that work for you. By you helping others by providing them a job in return they help you by helping to grow your business.

For example, you help people by giving them jobs and a chance to earn some income and the chances are in return, they help your business to develop and expand.

When it comes to leveraging the internet with your business the most effective way to do this is to provide several services or products to your clients and part or fully outsources the work and get paid for just leveraging your website.

You also attract more traffic and sales. When you provide services and products, you also supply the people’s needs therefore they buy from you. This is a win-win situation as a result from a business that uses leverage.

Even if your business is small or big, it still can benefit hugely from leveraging. Leverage is indeed and an advantage in any kind of business. Even if your business is small you still need to be equipped with several employees or manpower. Your business will not have the capability to work efficiently and successfully if you don’t have staffs to help your business and outsourcing takes care of all these issues.

When you survey different business and companies especially the big ones, this is what they all do in order for their company to work well.

So, you really need to duplicate yourself for your business to become successful and to also stay competitive in the world of tough market competition.

Now you know what the power of leverage is all about, its important and what it can really do for your business to multiply your profits, slash your burden into half, and free Your time! This is why some companies stay in business for so long and become more successful even in times of recession.

With leverage, everything will be possible for your business be it offline or online, big or small. Aside from that, with leverage you have the chance to also be in match with big businesses even though you've just started a small business. So, make the power of leverage be your path for business success and reach your goal for your business.

How To Create And Have The Life That You Really Want #lifestyle #personaldevelopment

Pain may sometimes be the reason why people change. Getting a really bad grade on something can sometimes make us realise that we need to study. Debts remind us of our inability to look for a source of income. Being humiliated gives us the ‘push’ to speak up and fight for ourselves to save our face from the next embarrassments. It may be a bitter experience, a friend’s tragic story, a great movie, or an inspiring book that will help us get up and get just the right amount of motivation we need in order to improve ourselves and our lives.

With the countless negativeness the world brings about, how do we keep motivated? Try one or more of the tips below I've prepared from A to Z…

A - Achieve your dreams.

Avoid negative people, things and places. I think it was Eleanor Roosevelt who once said, “the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”

B - Believe in your self, and in what you can do.

C – Consider things on every angle and aspect.

Motivation comes from determination. To be able to understand life, you should feel the sun from both sides.

D – Don’t give up and don’t give in.

Thomas Edison failed once, twice, more than thrice before he came up with his invention and perfected the incandescent light bulb. Make motivation as your steering wheel.

E – Enjoy.

Work as if you don’t need money. Dance as if nobody’s watching. Love as if you never cried. Learn as if you’ll live forever. Motivation takes place when people are happy.

F – Family and Friends

Family and friends are life’s greatest ‘F’ treasures. Don’t loose sight of them.

G – Give more than what is enough.

Where does motivation and self improvement take place at work? At home? At school? When you exert extra effort in doing things.

H – Hang on to your dreams.

They may dangle in there for a moment, but these little stars will be your driving force.

I – Ignore those who try to destroy you.

Don’t let other people to get the best of you. Stay out of toxic people the kind of friends who hates to hear about your success.

J – Just be yourself.

The key to success is to be yourself. And the key to failure is to try to please everyone.

K – keep trying no matter how hard life may seem.

When a person is motivated, eventually he sees a harsh life finally clearing out, paving the way to self improvement.

L – Learn to love your self.

Now isn’t that easy?

M – Make things happen.

Motivation is when your dreams are put into work clothes.

N – Never lie, cheat or steal.

Always play a fair game.

O – Open your eyes.

People should learn the horse attitude and horse sense. They see things in 2 ways – how they want things to be, and how they should be.

P – Practice makes perfect.

Practice is about motivation. It lets us learn repertoire and ways on how can we recover from our mistakes.

Q – Quitters never win.

And winners never quit. So, choose your fate are you going to be a quitter? Or a winner?

R – Ready yourself.

Motivation is also about preparation. We must hear the little voice within us telling us to get started before others will get on their feet and try to push us around. Remember, it wasn’t raining when Noah build the ark.

S – Stop procrastinating.

T – Take control of your life.

Discipline or self control jives synonymously with motivation. Both are key factors in self improvement.

U – Understand others.

If you know very well how to talk, you should also learn how to listen. Yearn to understand first, and to be understood the second.

V – Visualize it.

Motivation without vision is like a boat on a dry land.

W – Want it more than anything.

Dreaming means believing. And to believe is something that is rooted out from the roots of motivation and self improvement.

X – X Factor is what will make you different from the others.

When you are motivated, you tend to put on “extras” on your life like extra time for family, extra help at work, extra care for friends, and so on.

Y – You are unique.

No one in this world looks, acts, or talks like you. Value your life and existence, because you’re just going to spend it once.

Z – Zero in on your dreams and go for it!!!

How To Turn Your Impossibles In Your Life Into I'm Possible #personaldevelopment #confidencebuilder #poweroflovingyourself #lifestyle #businessandlifestyle

Everyone, at some point of his or her life, has dreamed of being somebody special, somebody big. Who hasn't fantasised about being that top sales executive in your company that wins that big contract? Who hasn't dreamed of being the beauty queen on all the vogue cover magazines? And how many times have we dreamed of being rich, or successful, or happy with our relationships? Often, we dream big dreams and have great aspirations. Unfortunately, our dreams remain just that – dreams. And our aspirations easily collect dust in our attic.

This is a sad turn of events in our life. Instead of experiencing exciting adventures in self actualization, we get caught up in the humdrum of living from day-to-day just barely existing. But you know what? Life could be so much better, if only we learned to aim higher.

The most common problem to setting goals is the word impossible.

Most people get hung up thinking I can't do this. It's too hard. It's too impossible. No one can do this. However, if everyone thought that, there would be no inventions, no innovations, and no breakthroughs in human accomplishment.

Remember that scientists were baffled when they took a look at the humble bumblebee. Theoretically, they said, it was impossible for the bumblebee to fly. Unfortunately for the bumble, bee no one has told it so. So fly it does.

On the other hand, some people suffer from dreaming totally outrageous dreams and not acting on them. The result? Broken dreams, and tattered aspirations. If you limit yourself with self-doubt, and self-limiting assumptions, you will never be able to break past what you deem impossible.

If you reach too far out into the sky without working towards your goal, you will find yourself clinging on to the impossible dream.

Try this exercise. Take a piece of paper and write down some goals in your life. Under one header, list down things ‘you know you can do’. Under another header, write the things ‘you might be able to do.’ And under one more, list the things that that are ‘impossible for you to do.’

Now look at all the headers strive every day to accomplish the goals that are under things ‘you know you can do’. Check them when you are able to accomplish them. As you slowly are able to check all of your goals under that heading, try accomplishing the goals under the other header-the one that reads ‘you might be able to do.’

As of the items you wrote under things I could do are accomplished, you can move the goals that are under things that are ‘impossible for you to do’ to the list of things ‘you might be able to do.’

As you iterate through this process, you will find out that the goals you thought were impossible become easier to accomplish. And the impossible begin to seem possible after all. You see, the technique here is not to limit your imagination. It is to aim high, and start working towards that goal little by little. However, it also is unwise to set a goal that is truly unrealistic.

Those who just dream towards a goal without working hard end up disappointed and disillusioned.

On the other hand, if you told someone a hundred years ago that it was possible for man to be on the moon, they would laugh at you. If you had told them that you could send mail from here to the other side of the world in a few seconds, they would say you were out of your mind. But, through sheer desire and perseverance, these impossible dreams are now realities.

Thomas Edison once said that genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration.
Nothing could be truer. For one to accomplish his or her dreams, there has to be had work and discipline. But take note that that 1% has to be a think-big dream, and not some easily accomplished one.

Ask any gym enthusiast and he or she will tell you that there can be no gains unless you are put out of your comfort zone. Remember the saying, "No pain, no gain?" That is as true as it can be.

So dream on, friend! Don’t get caught up with your perceived limitations. Think big and work hard to attain those dreams. As you step up the ladder of progress, you will just about find out that the impossible has just become a little bit more possible.

Thank you so much for taking out the time to read my latest article. I hope it truly helped you in some way. If you loved what you just read your more than welcome to take a look at other articles of mine here on LinkedIn.

See, if you know your social skills and you make use of them, you will reach self-empowerment. Self-empowerment is making a general overhaul in your life and turning yourself into a happier and more successful person. If you can be one of those people-persons, then I can't see any reason why you will not succeed. You just have to know how to start. Let's take a closer look how you too can improve your self-empowerment for a more happier and productive life.

1. Be genuine.

Hypocrisy will just bring you all the way down. Be genuinely nice and interested to and about people. Once they perceive that you are Mr. Hypocrite with selfish intentions, you might as well say goodbye to self-empowerment. Now some people might be very spectacle or nervous around nice people, I get this all the time. But don't let someones judgement of you stop you from being a nice person and genuinely caring about people or rob you from all the abundance life has to offer you. In due time life has a funny way of showing you off.

2. Be the greatest listener that you can be.

Growing up in a large family I've come to learn that developing a listening ear will take you further than having the loudest voice sometimes. To earn the love and trust of the people, listen to their problems and sympathise with them. Do not just hear them out, listen to them with your heart. Make eye contact when the person talks to you. Listen as if every word matters, and it does. Brownie points when they find out that there is a confidante in you. We all need someone like that in our lives.

3. Laugh out loud.

I do not mean that you force yourself to laugh for every joke cracked by someone that you do not find funny at all. What I mean by this is, finding humour in things and not being too darn serious all the time. A person oozing with an awesome sense of humour attracts crowds and eventually, attracts success.

4. Don't forget yourself.

In the process of fluttering around like a social butterfly, you might forget yourself, allowing everyone to push you over. I had a close friend who thought that putting themselves last all the time was the great act of love, they soon found out this was not to be true. Remember, love and value yourself before anyone else. If you deem yourself respectable and worthy of affection, people will flock to you and not trample on you and treat you with care.

5. Do random acts of kindness.

This could be hard just like being genuine as people might not trust you so readily and want to know what's in it for you. You don't have to do a John Rockefeller and blow your savings to charity. Little acts of kindness matters the most, and this can be as simple as giving someone a surprise you-take-care card or helping an elderly cross the street. When I was younger, kindness was taught to us and greatly practiced. Now is the time to revive the good deeds and this time, let them stay for good.

6. Contact your old friends.

I yesterday I met a very close friend of mine that I'd lost contact with for about eight years. When we met again after eight years had pasted it was like we never lost contact, I felt 8 years younger just talking to her about the good old days. Sad how some friendships are destined to goodbye, but thanks to technology, you can do something about it. Relive the good old days by flipping your yearbook and look for the great people whom you want to communicate with again. Adding these old friends to your roster of support peers will surely make you feel good all over.

7. Develop your personality.

Are you grouchy, grumpy and generally morose? Whoa, you can't go through life with those. Get rid of the bad traits and habits that perpetually hamper your growth. And really, who wants a grouchy friend anyway? Or a sibling and even a parent? trust me I know I use to be one.

8. Be confident.

Be able to stride to the other corner of the room and introduce yourself to people with that winning smile of yours. Just remember: be confident, not arrogant.

9. Practice control.

When angry, don't snap at anyone. Never throw a tantrum. Stay calm and collected. Be adult enough to take control of the situation and transform your anger into something more productive and passive. As soon as people think your anger goes to volcanic proportions easily, they will find it hard to come to you.

10. Keep nurturing your relationships.

It always seems to me that I just don't seem to have enough time in the day to do all the necessary things that is needed to get the job done, but your relationships with your family, friends and significant others is too precious that you must not neglect it whatever happens. Go out and have fun with them. Do things together. Happiness will never fly from your side as long as the people who matter the most are close to you.

In the end, involving people in your self-empowerment journey means becoming a better and more lovable person. It's a win-win situation: the people know they can turn to you anytime and vice versa.

You Can Be As Happy As You Want To Be #personaldevelopment #happiness #lifestyle

Almost everyone have heard the hit single 'Don't Worry, Be Happy' by Bobby McFerrin. The song has a very catchy way of conveying its message of being happy to everyone. Bobby McFerrin's simple message surely made a lot of people by telling them not to worry.

Living a happy, resilient and optimistic life is wonderful, and is also good for your health. Being happy actually protects you from the stresses of life. Stress has been linked to top causes of death such as heart disease, cancer and stroke.

One of the better things ever said is -

"The only thing in life that will always remain the same is change"

and in our life we have the power to make the necessary changes if we want to. Even if we find ourselves in an unbearable situation we can always find solace in the knowledge that it too would change.

Social networks or relationships are essential to happiness.

People are different, accept people for whom or what they are, avoid clashes, constant arguments, and let go of all kinds of resentments. If arguments seem unavoidable still try and make an effort to understand the situation and you might just get along with well, with 'Happiness' it's actually found in everyone, increasing it in your life is a way to make life more wonderful and also healthier.

To be happy is relatively easy; just decide to be a happy person.

Most people for most of the time can choose how happy or stressed, how relaxed or troubled, how bright or dull their outlook is going to be. The choice is simple really, choose to be happy.

There are several ways by which you can do this let's look at some of them.

Being grateful is a great attitude.

We have so much to be thankful for. Thank the taxi driver for bringing you home safely, thank the cook for a wonderful dinner and thank the guy who cleans your windows. Also thank the postman for bringing you your mails, thank the policeman for making your place safe and thank God for being alive.

News is stressful. Get less of it.

Some people just can't start their day without their daily dose of news. Try and think about it, 99% of the news we hear or read is bad news. Starting the day with bad news does not seem to be a sensible thing to do.

Manage your time.

Time is invaluable and too important to waste. Time management can be viewed as a list of rules that involves scheduling, setting goals, planning, creating lists of things to do and prioritising. These are the core basics of time management that should be understood to develop an efficient personal time management skill. These basic skills can be fine tuned further to include the finer points of each skill that can give you that extra reserve to make the results you desire.

Laugh and laugh heartily everyday.

Heard a good joke? Tell your friends or family about it. As they also say -'Laughter is the best medicine'.

Express your feelings, affections, friendship and passion to people around you.

They will most likely reciprocate your actions. Try not to keep pent up anger of frustrations, this is bad for your health. Instead find ways of expressing them in a way that will not cause more injury or hurt to anyone.

Working hard brings tremendous personal satisfaction.

It gives a feeling of being competent in finishing our tasks. Accomplishments are necessary for all of us, they give us a sense of value. Work on things that you feel worthy of your time.

Learning is a joyful exercise.

Try and learn something new everyday. Learning also makes us expand and broaden our horizons. And could also give us more opportunities in the future.

Run, jog, walk

And do other things that your body was made for. Feel alive.

Avoid exposure to negative elements like loud noises, toxins and hazardous places.

These are the few simple things you can do everyday to be happy. I remember a quote I once read which says,

"Most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be."

Don't Let The Fear Of Making The Wrong Choices In Life Stop You From Actually Living A Happy Life #motivational #personaldevelopment #lifestyle

Today I choose life. Every morning when I wake up I can choose joy, happiness, negativity, pain... To feel the freedom that comes from being able to continue to make mistakes and choices - today I choose to feel life, not to deny my humanity but embrace it. ~ Kevyn Aucoin ~

Life is like a road. There are long and short roads; smooth and rocky roads; crooked and straight paths. In our life many roads would come our way as we journey through life. There are roads that lead to a life of single blessedness, marriage, and religious vocation. There are also roads that lead to fame and fortune on one hand, or isolation and poverty on the other. There are roads to happiness as there are roads to sadness, roads towards victory and jubilation, and roads leading to defeat and disappointment.

Just like any road, there are corners, detours, and crossroads in life. Perhaps the most perplexing road that you would encounter is a crossroad. With four roads to choose from and with limited knowledge on where they would go, which road will you take? What is the guarantee that we would choose the right one along the way? Would you take any road, or just stay where you are: in front of a crossroad?

How Tapping Into Your Passion Can Help You Overcome Any Obstacle In Your Life #business #innovation #startup #success

Hello Lovelies I'm back once again. Hope you all are having a great day? We have come to our finial Key To Success and what a journey it has been for me to go back through the personal keys I have used on my entrepreneurial journey to success and hope it blesses your life too.

Let's take a look at our finial Key which is Passion

“The saddest people I've ever met in life are the ones who don't care deeply about anything at all. Passion and satisfaction go hand in hand, and without them, any happiness is only temporary, because there's nothing to make it last.”

― Nicholas Sparks, Dear John

Passion: Strong, enthusiastic devotion to a cause, ideal, or goal.

Passion: Your heart's one true desire or the deepest desire of your heart.

1. Commitment

2. An Open Mind

3. Persistence

4. Flexibility

5. Faith

6. Thankfulness

7. Passion

It's impossible to think about passion without reference to the heart. Deep within your heart, there is a desire, the pursuit of which will bring you all the happiness, success and fulfilment you really want. To find your passion is to identify your own unique purpose in life; to live your passion is to achieve the Deepest Desire of Your Heart.

You can achieve whatever you want. You can be the person you were meant to be; and you can really live the life of your dreams. Those are bold statements but they are true; and more and more people are discovering this wonderful truth for themselves. But if this is indeed true, then why is it that so many people - we think the figure is around 80% - are pursuing jobs and careers they don't really care about?

For our parents and grand-parents, growing up in a world with comparatively few opportunities, it's true to say that their lives were consumed with the whole business of 'making a living' - looking after what Abraham Maslow called their physiological and social needs. They worked hard and never really enjoyed the luxury of considering what might be termed the 'higher needs' of the human condition.
