THE PHONES AREN'T GOOD. Their caller service is state-wide and the Honolulu location has late hours, so after 5pm the phone stops working. They should fix this, but you may just have to go to the office to get any answers. If you're unemployed and uninsured, your visits are FREE and they've got no shortage of helpful advice, pamphlets, medications you can receive for free as well, and very kind personnel. Be aware that the office recently switched over to digital records, so they're still learning the new system. Health care is complicated enough already! And make sure you walk out the door with YOUR prescription and it has a DOCTOR'S SIGNATURE on it. I had to go back twice because they kept forgetting "minor" details. Parking is available at the foot of the building for $1.00/30 minutes or $3.00 max. There is more parking around the backside of the building that is reserved until 5pm, so late appointments can park there at no charge.

About 100m of brown gravel/sand that is 1m wide. A few debilitated canoes and surf boards. Locals havin' a lime in the parking lot. All the surrounding houses have loud dogs. There is a small bathroom building and a children's playground, with one grassy hill and a park bench. It's all a bit run-down and shady. More like a neighborhood green space and boat launch than a park.

I've been coming to Akai Hana since it opened and it has improved (which I believed impossible!) The miso soup and ginger salad are the best I've been able to find in America and they prepare supreme teriyaki steak and salmon.

This is the very best in Chinese food. My grandfather has long sought the top restaurant in Philly, and having lived there the past 60 years, he knows what he's talking about. Whenever we go to Philly, we go to David's. The steamed dumplings are AMAZING and we've watched them being prepared with thrilling dexterity and speed. The ginger sauce that comes with them is crisply refreshing and savory. I'm drooling just thinking about it....I'll be there in a few days. The staff is very polite and friendly, and they have great late night hours with delicious authentic food. Ever tried jellyfish? It's good! I would recommend this restaurant above any other to friends and family visiting in the Philly area.
